Whoever had habitacion 10 (above my room) made me realize that you can hear every step (and every object the guests upstairs drop when coming back drunk at 1:30am). Obviously not something CasaBlu should be blamed for.

Beautiful old house built 1906 (as I was told when checking in) renovated with great taste and well maintained. Public spaces (shady garden/patio downstairs, and attic with balcony and great ocean views 3 floors above the garden) invite for relaxation (or laptop work with good WiFi). Excellent easy-to-use coffee machine at breakfast, including milk frothing for cappuccino, clean, well-maintained and actually working! Wonderful location - historic city center accessible in a 5-minute walk with lots of good restaurants, cafes and pubs.

I loved everything about this hotel. Its unique character, beautiful lounge rooms and garden, the art and decor. The breakfast was included and it was the best hotel breakfast I’ve ever had- they even had gluten free and vegan options. Our room had ample storage and a large bathroom. It was clean and comfortable. The location was great too- close to many cafes, restaurants, and art studios. I will recommend this hotel to anyone travelling to Valparaiso!

The staff are very friendly and helpful, but most don't speak much English, so communication is a bit difficult, although not a real problem. More of a guesthouse than a hotel, so doesn't have the full range of facilities of a hotel.

Very charming. Quite high up, so exceptional views of Valparaiso and Bay. Try to get Room 6, since it has huge picture windows and a particularly amazing view. Beautifully decorated. Very comfortable. I would definitely stay there again.

The hotel still feels like the mansion it was, which is both good and bad. For instance, it has a huge and grand living room that is very quiet and felt a bit underutilized.

Beautiful historic building turned into a hotel, in one of the nicest and most scenic neighbourhoods of Valparaiso. Large and comfortable rooms, lovely roof terrace, and good, varied breakfast.

Everything about this beautiful old historical home/ hotel is charming and luxurious. We had an amazing stay in a very large, comfortable room with some of the best views we had in the city. The place is extremely clean and well maintained. The breakfast down in the ground level/courtyard was lovely and there were good options! The staff were helpful - we asked them to chill a bottle of wine for us as there is no fridge in the room, and there was no problem doing that! We wish we stayed there longer!!
