The hot water in the showers was a bit sporadic. One issue, we could make reservations with a credit card, but we could only pay either cash or by transfer. That's fine, but that fact should be mentioned on the website.

The rules are quite strict, eg you can’t leave your bags there after you’ve checked out and you have to leave the premises. Also the showers were on a different floor from our room.

Room was very very small although I am unsure if this is the same size for all single rooms or just mine in particular. This is fine for a 2 night stay but would be extremely stifling beyond that.

There was no trash can in the room, which became a bot frustrating. The room did not look at all like the pictures on Booking.com. It would have been nice to know the size of the bathroom that all the guests at the hostel would share.

The one thing I did not like was that there was no mention on the booking website that one can NOT pay with a credit card, only cash or transfer. That's fine, but one should know that before getting there.

The stay was a very pleasant experience. The hostel (hotel combination) has a great location, and the hostel was spotless.

One problem though- we made the reservation with a credit card, but when we got there we had to pay in cash. That was unexpected, and can be a problem since San Pedro only has 2 or 3 ATMs ( if you include the petrol station outside town) with strict limits on cash withdrawls, one of which even run out of money. It would be helpful to have that information before getting to San Pedro, so one can get some cash before hand.

My friends and I went for a few days and selected Hostal Corvatsch for its location (VERY close to the centre of San Pedro) and the price. It was a very good choice. Having a kitchen came in handy as well.

The room is very small just a bed and enough floor to put our luggage. We had an interior window to the hall. In the written policy they do not store luggage after checkout which is kind of weird.

I noticed a sign in the bathroom saying that after checking out you can't stay on the premise and you can't even leave your luggage. It's the first time I'm seeing anything like it in a hotel/hostel. I left right after checking out so I wasn't impacted by this stupid rule but what if somebody takes an evening bus, are they supposed to wait in the street?!Whatever the reason for it I find it unacceptable and unfriendly which makes me never want to go back there.

The facilities were good and the internet was working really well.

When I came back, they have given my luggage to another guest, they could not locate the guest and make me responsible for my lost luggage. I lost plenty of items and money. The hotel promised me to refund and after 4 weeks of pushing they haven’t answered my requests. They are now claiming that I lied about my items and trying to skip their responsibilities.

There was a rare city-wide wifi outage (not the accommodation's fault!) but the staff lent me his personal wifi so I could work---incredibly helpful!

The staff are very friendly and incredibly accommodating! The location is amazing, close to everything. The property is very peaceful, with a well-lit dining room, a working space, a stocked kitchen, and excellent wifi! Very clean. Would definitely stay here again!
