Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United KingdomCheck in was rather slow.
The hotel is in an ideal location, very near the centre, but overlooking a quiet stretch of the river. We had a lovely big, comfortable room and were so lucky to have a front-facing corner room - 318- from which we could look out over the river on two sides. This was particularly lovely as we arrived on a festival weekend and could watch the light show from our room! The staff were helpful and breakfast was ample and very good. The was car parking on site.

HungaryThe staff doesn't speak english. I had to pay 20 thousand pesos more than it was in the confirmation. The shower curtain in the bathroom is inappropriate in many ways (e.g. hygine).

United StatesI arrived 15 minutes before check in time, they made me stand for 15 minutes until the exact time was met, it was ridiculous!! I work in tourism and you NEVER treat a tourist that way!! They wouldn’t accept cash either, I had to use my emergency card, I’ve never been in a Hotel that doesn’t accept cash, another ridiculous hotel policy!!
