Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United Statesthe water and power did not turn on until late in the morning - to get up and hike at 6 or 7 am you had no way of getting water :( A way to get hot water for coffee, even the small restaurant on the premises wasn't open, for early morning hikes was a real disappointment when paying over $100/night :(
The bedding was very comfortable and warm with ample room in the tent. A hook for your wet towel after showering is needed. The parking was very close to our tent and the bathrooms were very clean with ample hot water in the evenings.

IrelandNo cooking facilities or storage. Advertises bbq but nowhere to store any food. See why they don't to encourage to go to restaurant but should have even a fridge for storage. This is a basic facility that is missing. Storage - tent needs a hook to hang jackets, clothes, towel and also a bin in the tent would be useful Location far from north of park but knew this before booking
Very friendly staff at reception. Very comfortable bed with hot water bottles provided to you between 8pm and 9pm. Not cold at all unlike what I saw in other reviews, was very cozy. (March) Tent was clean and smelled nice Very nice hot shower, toilets with clean. Was able to pay without tax if paid in usd Good restaurant with very tasty delicious pizzas Each tent had a pod with own table and a charging unit Beautiful views Exceeded expectations especially with mixed reviews here

IsraelIt was very cold the first night. Afterwards we asked for extra blankets and it was okay. It is a long drive to all the trails in the park.
The tent was spacious. There is a very nice restaurant at the site.

United KingdomAs stated by others, it is cold at night but the duvet is thick and comfortable and the hot water bottle is wonderful. Just pack some warm clothes for the evenings.
The restaurant was great and has vegan options. Very quick access to the park and the staff were lovely.

Beautiful location and very friendly staff. Just outside the park boundaries but still with great views of the park and the mountains. Bring warm clothes as it gets cold at night.

CanadaThe domes could have a little more insulation on the floor as the cold can up from under the air mattresses. The showers were also not cleaned in the three day we stayed, though the rest of the bathrooms were cleaned.
We loved the location of the site and the restaurant! The staff was welcoming and attentive. The sites were comfortable and had well enough space for us.

Czech RepublicQuite expensive for a tent but that's with everything in this park. It can get very cold in the tent so warm clothes are necessary. No heating available.
Cool way of enjoying Torres del Paine National Park, right next to the entrance. Helpful staff. Shared facilities were quite clean for a camp.

United KingdomWater and electricity are turned off at night, which is fine for the most part, but this means no flushing toilets at night and if you have an early start you won’t be able to take a morning shower. Earliest breakfast is at 9am, so you need to plan ahead if you have an early start (the lunch box was great though!)
Fantastic location right next to the park entrance, spacious bell tent with a comfortable air mattress and thick cosy duvet. The restaurant was also great - just pizza and burgers but really well made (veggie and vegan options if you want that). They also made us a delicious lunch box to take out. Staff were friendly and helpful.

United KingdomThere was not warm water, despite we tried when the generator was on.
We were sceptic as we read many bad reviews. It’s a glamping so one cannot expect an hotel room. Despite that, the tent was spacious and the bed comfortable. Staff very kind as they offered us hot water bags to sleep warmer. Bed insulation was good. We were hit by a storm one night and we slept well, tent well insulated. You have a private parking in front of the tent, with small dry spot for eating and shared clean bathroom. The tent was exactly at the side of a river and you can enjoy the beautiful views of the park. It’s right at the entrance of Torres del Paine, so it’s a perfect spot for daily hikes. There is also a very cozy restaurant with reasonable prices

United KingdomThe property did not refund our deposit! Have tried to contact them numerous times but to no avail. Have had to resort to contacting booking.com back and forth. Still not obtained the deposit back. We have lost £150… I would avoid staying here at all costs. Further more, it’s on the other side of the national park, so to access for instance the main trail head for the three peaks hike, you will need to drive 1hr 30min. Consider carefully before you book
