Property is lovely. The main foyer area is so beautifully decorated and such a nice place to sit with a drink or read a book. So close to the main bussle of San Pedro. The staff were fantastic too. Honestly can’t speak more highly of the hotel.

Walls are a little thinner and we unfortunately had a very loud man in the room next to us which made our first night harder to sleep but thankfully we had a quieter guest beside us the rest of the time.

Wonderful stay at Don Raul! The staff were helpful and kind. Our room as well as the outdoor area were clean and comfortable. Buffet breakfast was so delicious with a good variety, we also had lunch at the restaurant and the food was excellent. Excellent location within walking distance to many places!

Rooms and bathroom is very small and no air-conditioning. This meant nights were hot and I'd had enough of my partner after two days due to the heat and close proximity.

Wonderful location and difficult to find anything in this price range on the main street. Has a lovely outdoor area and pool.

- Toilet size is too small, not that comfortable to use it, besides didn't like the tiles inside of shower, but its about my personal taste. - The hotel and many places in the town do not offer menu or any kind of help in English and Portuguese, even they have lots of Brazilian and European tourists, I think its a big minus do not have menu in the restaurant at least in English, not everyone can speak Spanish guys! Be better than others!

- The bed is very nice and comfortable. - Food at the restaurant is amazingly beautiful and delicious and also breakfast is quite good. - Location of the hotel is good.

The location is perfect at the end of Caracol street, near all the attractions but in the quiet end of the road. Great, welcoming atmosphere and very friendly staff. Hotel is neat but some bits were little tired showing a bit of wear. Good breakfast but no espresso - just bland filter coffee.

Staff were ineffective at resolving issues that arose. We had issues with payment that were finally resolved after 5 attempts. We asked for an early breakfast to take away due to early start on tours, this was not possible. Hot water to make drinks was meant to be available but this was not on the first day and on the second day there was no coffee- it had ran out. When this was pointed out to the receptionist they shrugged their shoulders. During our stay we were sent an email asking for feedback and if we had any issues that needed to be resolved, we outlined these as requested. We received no reply to our email and they were not addressed.

Nice room, beautiful courtyard, excellent location. Good breakfast.

They didn’t have a heating system in place so we had to ask for heaters (portable ones) and it wasn’t so nice considering it was 6 degrees Celsius for most days. The bedrooms are very small, which is okay but if you have a lot of luggage brace yourself cause it’ll be tough to move around!

The staff is amazing, very nice people! The breakfast is fantastic and the location is perfect as well.
