The unit we stayed in was two bedrooms in two separate floors with two bathrooms. But the twi bathrooms were on the first floor. Not convenient…

The wifi was very patchy; we had to go to the reception to book our park tickets. The kitchen was tired and the cabin a bit dated. Shower curtains not screens. Not quite up to the international hotel pricing.

The reception staff and waiters were superb. A big thank-you. The cabin large and comfortable. The food OK. The free hot-tub a very nice extra. The path in the forest was a real treat for us on a rainy day.

The reviews about the noise from the neighbors is true, there’s something with the sound that travels easily with the neighbor cabin. But even so it seems the travellers are all on the same schedule so it shouldn’t be a problem.

This is a gorgeous property with a very cozy and warm lobby/restaurant/pool table and games, the fact they include the hot tubes is definitely a plus, it is pricey for the age the cabins have, and the reviews about the noise from the neighbors is true, there’s something with the sound that travels easily with the neighbor cabin.

The hiking path was closed. The swimming pool was closed. The hot tub smelled frighteningly strongly of chemicals. The room smelled of bleach. The food at breakfast was poor quality. The buildings are poorly designed and all turn their back on the view. The place felt a little soulless.

Comfortable bed. Very clean room. Great shower. Very helpful manager in reception.

Nothing - it is lovely. The staff were accommodating, the geography is beautiful. We celebrated a birthday in our group and the lodge did a lamb roast in their separate bbq shed. The food was simple but SO good. Our group loved the swimming pool and hot tub which they didn’t charge extra for - many places do - and the room had a coffee maker in it which we liked because we could sit quietly in the morning and enjoy the view from the big windows in the cabin that faced the garden.

This is a fantastic remote set of cabins in the mountains next to a gorgeous lake. The cabins are comfortable and clean, the staff are incredibly friendly and hospitable with exceptional service, and the amenities are brilliant too (beautiful restaurant, pool table in bar area, kayaking on the lake, hot tub you can use at any time).

Our 3bedroom house was really a duplex with shared walls and noisy neighbours. Not as advertised. The house was run down and moldy. Needs a major renovation.

One set menu for Dinner is misleading. Nowhere to walk as not allowed to go in certain directions is misleading. We experienced cold water for 2 days and no-one apologised. We are in negotiation with El Pangue Lodge. Cabins are basic for overseas traveller. Strange drop down bath to step into for the shower which could be difficult for an older person.

Excellent reception staff. Nice setting. Cabins are set in a picturesque wooded area . Comfortable bed. Change of towels and room cleaned daily.

Peaceful, tranquil stay. Catalina was exceptional, on reception and as our waitress, really friendly and welcoming. The meal in the evening was exceptional, Jose is a fantastic chef.

Everything other than location - the cabins are not only old, but also not well maintained and cleaned. The food was absolute disaster, we were there during X-Mas and their specially prepared dinner could literally not be eaten (e.g. tarta so hard I could not cut it with fork, knife etc.) What was also unpleasant was how badly organized this place was, they were trying to charge us twice for the room (turned out they took my money from the card already), the same happened to the X-Mas dinner, where they have attached some random people to our bill. Hopefully that was not on purpose.

Location only - really nicely placed, right next to the river and with mountain view.
