We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

United StatesLaura was an awesome host, and the accommodation was perfect for our needs. She had great communication before our arrival. She met us at the airport, gave us a quick town tour, and let us get settled in. Our room was comfortable and clean, and there was a kitchen and amenities available if we needed them. Laura also gave us a tour of the island tailored to our interests, and she gave us recommendations of other places to check out on our own. We felt right at home, but also had our orivacy. We couldn't have been happier with our stay.

United KingdomNo WiFi. Laura can share her hotspot. But when she is away - there is no backup. I also met a few cockroaches. But you can meet them anywhere on the island - even in 4star hotels

Laura is fantastic as a host. Friendly, informative, kind, comfortable home. Her son was very be kind too. There was use of the kitchen and a separate large fridge to use. Laura is a guide so it was brilliant to use her services for an excellent tour.

United StatesIt was a private home within walking distance to town. Full use of the kitchen and her home. The owner and her sister were our tour guides and they did an exceptional job. First day we went and toured the entire island and the next day her sister hiked us to the top of Mount Terevaka. We loved her cats. The owner was so helpful and went out of her way to make things comfortable. Highly recommend staying there and using her and her sister for all your tour needs. It is a room in a nice home and a great neighborhood.
