Wonderful host family was very helpful and informative, provided city maps and recommended places to see, set out a generous breakfast each morning, and was very attentive to my needs. I was grateful to be able to have my laundry done on site. Showers were hot, room was very comfortable with locking door and ample space for my things. Location was great - a quieter part of town, but within walking distance to the tourist center.

There were many plants on the terrace and at night when we slept we were bitten by many and we had marks from the bites for weeks. Without a doubt, it is a very nice place but it needs maintenance.

The breakfast was very tasty, along with the cleanliness and size of the room, we will definitely go back, the hosts had a great atmosphere that makes it very pleasant to be there, without a doubt, many thanks to the place.

Everything was Amazing, the best experience I have had in my life

The best and most handsome hotelier in all of Chile and the F&$+$;+$+$ing world!! I would like to have this type of service in any country I can visit. Felipe...U are the Guy!!!!!..i hope your place became a luxury experience in a few years...I am going to comeback with 20 people next time

Breakfast was a bit disappointing. Need to press the button and wait for them to open the gate every time. The building was quite old and not the most comfortable.

It seems to be an HQ for seagulls! They can be quite noisy! Also, mind the mosquitoes.

A very warm welcome from the family that runs the place. Always felt at home. Centennial building with a lot of charm. The rooms are located on the second floor, around a stairwell. The very high ceiling makes it breezy.

The main road outside can be noisy. Loud people in the street could be heard even with ear plugs in. It is easy to get to though (I travelled by car).

Sweet older couple who speak a couple of words English (more than most Chileans do). It's an old colonial house without its own heating. This can be cold but the bed with many blankets was warm.

It is a really quiet and intimate b&b. The owners are renting their own house, and you can feel it in a really good way. They are lovely, helpful, and open to make you feel comfortable. Breakfast was the only weak point. Please keep in mind that there is no sign outside, and you got to buzz to get access to.

at the time of my stay there was no hot water(they tried to fix that problem) but it was not too inconvenient to take a cold water shower(for me)

- Breakfast seems to be offered inconsistently. Some other reviewers have mentioned great breakfast; there was nothing in the first morning I went downstairs; in the second morning there was whitebread with cheese, ham and jam options. To be fair, i didn't explicitly chase the breakfast and realised only later we hadn't discussed it at check-in - You need to ring the bell and wait by the gate to be let in

As the rooms are in the hosts’ house, there was some noise from their normal lives on one occasion. There was an energetic toddler and music on Saturday , when they probably have a traditional family gathering. The hosts did try their best to minimize the noise, to be fair. They were also good-mannered. The noise was not too bad, if you are used to that, but if you need a quiet place, consider something else or stay during the week here.

The room was very big and nice and the shared bathroom, although dated, was clean and acceptable. I found a bed comfortable, as I had a good sleep. The window faced a wide street with palms, it was busy, but not too noisy. The host spoke English and was very helpful with suggestions and questions. WiFI worked excellent . Overall-excellent value!

Very, very helpful and charming! This is a really nice way to visit Chile. More like a family stay than a hotel, or a backpacker hostel. Walking distance everywhere when you know Valparaiso.

Beautiful family-owned property with so many charming period characteristics - high ceilings, tall doors, old world charm. I loved my stay there. The breakfast was amazing, and was served to me even though I was late for it.

There’s no sign so pay attention to the street number. No gate key so reach through the gate to access the buzzer. Arrange for early leaving the night before.

The hosts were great. This is he only place in Chile which has provided tourist information.
