Simple and well managed.

No temperature control that I could see.

Feels like home, best breakfast with plenty of fresh fruits and home made jam, most of all Filipe gives the best tourist guide to his home town that he loves.

The hosts were great. This is he only place in Chile which has provided tourist information.

There’s no sign so pay attention to the street number. No gate key so reach through the gate to access the buzzer. Arrange for early leaving the night before.

A hostel is just a building, the staff make it stand out. Felipe and his parents make you feel at home from the moment you walk in. Location is good.

Wonderful host family was very helpful and informative, provided city maps and recommended places to see, set out a generous breakfast each morning, and was very attentive to my needs. I was grateful to be able to have my laundry done on site. Showers were hot, room was very comfortable with locking door and ample space for my things. Location was great - a quieter part of town, but within walking distance to the tourist center.

Fantastic little B&B, with super friendly owner and perfect location: the port, the bus terminal, the City center - everything is within 10 mins walking distance.

The breakfast was very tasty, along with the cleanliness and size of the room, we will definitely go back, the hosts had a great atmosphere that makes it very pleasant to be there, without a doubt, many thanks to the place.

There were many plants on the terrace and at night when we slept we were bitten by many and we had marks from the bites for weeks. Without a doubt, it is a very nice place but it needs maintenance.

I can’t speak too much since I had to leave before the night but it’s important to note: The location walking from the bus station to the property is something I was not comfortable doing in the day. The houses adjacent are abandoned and the street is not welcoming. The house itself is very old, which gives it charm but definitely shows its age. Clearly with the bed being uncomfortable. Very easy to hear everything in the house. Bugs! Not a great sign that they give you bug spray in your room.

The best and most handsome hotelier in all of Chile and the F&$+$;+$+$ing world!! I would like to have this type of service in any country I can visit. Felipe...U are the Guy!!!!!..i hope your place became a luxury experience in a few years...I am going to comeback with 20 people next time

Everything was Amazing, the best experience I have had in my life

Owners were nice, they were an old couple. Shower was good. The room was warm enough.

Breakfast was a bit disappointing. Need to press the button and wait for them to open the gate every time. The building was quite old and not the most comfortable.

The best thing about the place, are the owners. The old couple is very very nice and sweet.

First of all, everything is extremely old, it‘s like everything in there is still the same like it was in the beginning. There is an old/moldy smell in the hallway and room. The bed is extremely uncomfortable, the sheets were clean but the wool blankets were definitely not. The bathroom is horrible. You can tell that neither the bathtub nor the toilet were cleaned regularly. Hair on the toilet. Stains in the bathtub. And really really bad smell all the time. Guess it‘s just because the place is old, but seriously the owners should consider a little remodeling. Or at least hiring a real cleaning team. On booking it says the breakfast is great. But it‘s just typical chilean breakfast, nothing special. Some old white bread, butter and cheese and instant coffee. Nothing special. It‘s sad because it‘s a beautiful house with a lot of potential.

A very warm welcome from the family that runs the place. Always felt at home. Centennial building with a lot of charm. The rooms are located on the second floor, around a stairwell. The very high ceiling makes it breezy.

It seems to be an HQ for seagulls! They can be quite noisy! Also, mind the mosquitoes.

For Valparaiso, I think it’s better to stay in the tourist area
