Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

This was not a hostel, it was a converted family home that added extra walls and bedrooms to fit as many people as possible. None of the rooms had locking doors, we weren't allowed to use the kitchen, the staff was unfriendly and did not have any knowledge of the local area and the owners have not properly registered with their bank to process payments in dollars to allow the guests to save the 20% VAT tax they should not have have to pay. At $200 a night per room I do not take sympathy at needing to do paperwork at a bank and getting a second credit card machine when $30 a night hostels in Patagonia have done it.

AustraliaLots of hidden costs and dishonest charging practices. Website clearly stated a price in usd but the hotel uses a dishonest and terrible rate to convert that amount into chilean pesos far lower than the official rate provided by the Chilean central bank. Resulting in charges of more than an extra 35usd per night. When this was disputed they stated the only way to have the 220 usd rate was to pay in usd cash (not credit card) which is absurd and unheard of in Chile. And this is not mentioned in any of the booking information. Very dishonest. Then everything and I mean everything has an additional charge, want to sit by the fire outside well that has an additional charge for firewood, want to use the small inflatable hot tub well that will cost you 30usd per couple for an hour and so on and so on. The rooms are very very noisy with terrible sound insulation. There are no locks on the doors of the room either.

United KingdomWe had no power for the duration of our stay, meaning no light or wifi and minimal heating. Staff were mostly unhelpful, all the reviews said it was so close to the ski lift but it was actually around a 20 minute walk on the road uphill in the cold to the nearest lift. Hostel is small and basic. Not at all worth the money.
