Mattress seemed quite old, so it was a little uncomfortable. Shower pressure was also not great.

If you take a room on ground floor, you'll probably hear people stepping on upper floor. During our second stay the girls above our room were stepping quite loud at 5 am :-(

This staff very amazing, very kind and helpful (Angie, Guillermo, Juan). Nice and large breakfast. Easy quick walk to metro station and / or to city centre. We decided to stay twice.

Tv remote didn't work even tho they tried with different ones. Bed was uncomfortable, sunken in the middle. Towels smelled funny... Damp smell.

Not a big thing, but it was quite rude that the kitchen staff started to take away the stuff from our table right 2-3 minutes after the breakfast window ended, while we were having our last bites. I get it that they want to stick to the timeframe but should be a bit more relaxed with that as well.

The guys at the reception were exceptionally friendly (especially Juan!), the room smelled good and was clean, the social areas are welcoming and tidy, kitchen is big enough and well equipped. The breakfast is a big plus!

The staff was terrific. They were attentive, answered questions, thoroughly, and if they were busy, they said why (like a pipe head burst above, and they couldn’t talk to me right now). As an older couple traveling, we were treated with warmth and respect and graciousness and good humor. When we return to Santiago, we would happily stay there again.

My room was next to the living room, the same as the window , so till midnight and from 7 am, it was very noisy. It was the only time through my trip that I chose a single room and the less comfortable by the end

Breakfast very basic and many of the plates (cheese, bananas) were always empty even if you go early. Basically it was just bread and jam most of the time. The Teflon pans in the kitchen were so used that the Teflon was scarping off, which is bad for you health. The same pans are used by the staff to make scrambled eggs for the breakfast.

Good location, a few minutes walk away from several restaurants and from the local park but not noisy at night. Rooms were clean and spacious enough given it was a hostel. Staff very friendly and willing to help us. Breakfast basic but good, coffee not always available. Overall enjoyable stay.
