We would have preferred if breakfast was available earlier than 8. The packed breakfasts for early departures were OK, but being able to have breakfast before 7:30 would have made one of our days much easier. We knew going in there was no heat in the rooms, which I think is common in San Pedro. The hot water bottles provided helped with that and we slept comfortably, it was just a little tough to get out of bed in the morning. Our impression is they are working on installing heaters in the rooms.

Loved the location near the main street in San Pedro. Staff were friendly and helpful, room was clean and comfortable, and breakfasts were good. We also enjoyed the outdoor living room.

Only drawbacks were at the time of our stay the heaters were broken, we knew about this and brought our own hot water bottles. other guest were loud outside our room early mornings and one night there was no hot water. It was what it was.

The staff were very friendly and accommodating. They provided breakfast for those who wanted and also went out of their way to provide snacks for one of our tours. The hostel felt safe, and very clean. The pool area is a nice spot to relax. I do recommend this place for the staff and close distance to the main street.

There is no housekeeping without a fee until the 5th day which means you want garbage empty (for toilet) & sweeping its extra. Also to go breakfast not nutritional, nice they provide but small bread & cheese left over sandwiches from breakfast would be nicer than sugary cookies & 1 fruit. These made it a bit disappointing for the price. -also, Be advised if forgein card it automatically will charge 19% unless you have cash or wize. They cant help it, bring cash. They let me pay in morning after atm.

Secure. Very hot water and heavy flow to wash hair. Provides hot water bottle for cold nights as no heating in san pedro. Breakfast is good with fresh bread, yogurt, cheese, meat & fruit but 0800-1000. They are easily accessible by whatsapp and kindly stayed late to let me in at midnight due to transport problems.

We had a wonderful stay at this place. The rooms are charming, and the kitchen facilities are good. The staff is amazing - super friendly and helpful. The location is perfect: right at the beginning of the Caracoles street, which is the main street and is where one visits every day. Also, we were the first to be picked up for all the tours we went for. In short: much recommended.

The room was comfortable but could do with a little refreshing. Some hooks for hanging towels etc would be a great addition.

The location was very handy to the main square and the breakfast was good. They even packed a small bag for us to take when our tour left early. Staff were very nice and there were some lovely outdoor spaces to relax.

Lighting in the room is poor. While the rooms by the pool have an outdoor seating area, ours had none as we faced the courtyard and there was some noise in the evening and early morning of people coming and going. Not a big deal, but get a room by the pool if you can.

Convenient location near the center of town. The hostal is well managed by an excellent staff who were very helpful and accomodating. While the breakfast itself is pretty simple, the french bread that is served was outstanding and a welcomed change from the usual you get in Chile. The common areas are well kept and the guests were very interesting to chat with.

Gorgeous hostel with super friendly staff, comfortable and clean rooms and good shared bathrooms. The breakfast (bread, eggs, ham, cheese, and various jams) was great and the pool and common areas were lovely places to relax.

My only complaint was that the WiFi was not available at some areas at the hostel, for example, my room and some benches at the back.

The breakfast was simple but very taste and fresh. The room was clean and comfy with a rustic atmosphere. The owners were extremely friendly and helpful. A family hostel. The location of the hostel is excellent, a few steps to the main street with restaurants , shops and drop off from tours.

-we were travelling in summer so the room became quite warm even at night, however this is probably the case with most rooms in comparable hostels in San Pedro

-communication with staff was really easy, they were also very friendly and forthcoming -the location is great, only a few meters from the main street with all the restaurants -the swimming pool was nice for refreshing after a tour -there are several common areas, including a kitchen -although we had a private bathroom I also checked the common bathrooms and they were very clean

I couldn't get the water to get very warm in the shower. I think it's because I'm a spoiled American. It was still workable.

We didn't have hot water the first night because we arrived late, but if you take your shower during the day you won't have any problem. We heard a bit of noise at night (dog and people were talking) but nothing major.

The staff was really nice with us. We love their availability. The place is very nice with a pool and they offer breakfast which is a must.
