Good location - only a short walk from the bus station on a quiet non-touristy street, but still close to the centre. Always kept very clean. Relaxed outdoor communal space.

You have everything you need, you meet new people, you have a very good breakfast or a snack in case you leave before 7h30. The person that took care of my accommodation was super nice, helping me with tips and making me comfortable all the time. I trumy recommend this hostel!

Breakfast!!! Pancakes, eggs, coffee, fresh fruit and loads of different spreads and toppings. There's even a take away breakfast if you have an early tour and a great kitchen for cooking your own meals. Rodrigo is super helpful for local information and can book tours for you. He even let us cancel our reservation for free when plans changed due to a snow storm on our way to San Pedro. Great location, hot showers, towels, warm blankets and plenty of luggage storage on shelves in dorm rooms.

Hugo the manager is a man of few words. And can seem unfriendly when you first arrive. But he is very efficient and competent just a bit gruff sometimes.

This was an amazing hostel and I wished I had stayed longer. It's small, but really well organized. There are indoor and outdoor common areas, and the indoor area, which is also for eating breakfast, gets a heater on cold mornings, so it's cozy. Also very nice and relaxing to have an indoor area to sit, chat or read on cold evenings. The dorm room is great, lockers are provided, shelves, towel/clothing hooks- excellent. The street is very quiet. The breakfast of eggs, fruit, pancakes/crepes and milk/juice/yogurt etc is good and filling and included in the price. Bathrooms ( and entire hostel ) is very clean and showers have good hot water. You get a key for the outside door so getting in at any time is easy, no waiting. Highly recommend this place for international backpackers.

If you have dorm 1 at the front of the property, you get some noise from the basketball court(?) opposite and sometimes they start quite earlier

Great location, close to the centre and everything you need in San Pedro, but on a quiet road with loads of parking. Breakfast was a solid 10/10. Pancakes to order, what's not to love? They will also sort you out with a breakfast bag if you leave early in the morning (which is great as so many of the tours are a really early start).

We booked on booking.com and it said there was free laundry service however when we arrived there wasn’t. They referred us to a good place in town but it was expensive

Sebastian was absolutely amazing to deal with. He picked up that I'd booked the incorrect airport, giving me lots of time to book a new flight, and went out of his way to be as helpful as possible. The hostel is clean, quiet, and a delight to stay at. Also, a short and safe walk onto town. Highly recommended!!

Nothing - it was brilliant

The breakfast is a 10/10 - you can have as many scrambled eggs, pancakes with Nutella and bowls of fruit as you want, definitely one of the best breakfasts I've had! They'll also leave out a packed lunch if you're heading out before breakfast. The host is incredibly helpful and his knowledge on tours is well worth listening to. I booked a stargazing tour and the 4x4 tour to the salt flats through the hostel and I would highly recommend it (for the 4x4 tour he'll put you in groups with people of similar ages which made the whole experience 10x better). The beds are really comfortable, towels are provided for free, the kitchen and bathrooms are kept very clean and it's only a 5 minute walk to the main street. It's also great for solo travelers as the communal area is great to chill in to meet people and many people who stay are solo travellers. I can't recommend this hostel more!

Rodrigo was an excellent host; he was so helpful and contacted us beforehand and helped arrange airport transfers & excursions which were excellent! We stayed in a private room which was comfortable & clean- bed was great. Breakfast was also great and the hostel is very clean. <10min walk to the main street, so it's quiet which we liked. I have no negatives - I'd stay there again in a heartbeat.

Nothing major. As being a non-smoker and bothered a lot with smoke smell, I didn't like that it's allowed smoking inside the garden which is very small common area where the doors for all the rooms open, so you can feel smoke inside your room. Plus, I couldn't enjoy too much in the garden because of the smell.

Very nice hostel with good breakfast and nice atmosphere. The private room was very clean, big and comfortable, especially the bed. The hot shower was also perfect. The owner was very supportive while booking tours, giving information about things to do around San Pedro de Atacama. He allowed us to do late checkin without additonal fee as we booked an early tour on our checkout day. Besides, there is a kitchen with all the equipment for cooking your own meal.

Rodrigo is very organized as such everything runs very smoothly especially with so many people using the kitchen. He is exceptionally helpful and caring. He follows up and makes great suggestions on tours as well as organizing the shuttle bus. Breakfast is generous and delicious. As well he offers real coffee.

The shower heads in the main bathrooms are a bit old and it is either extremely hot or cold. Overall it's a good spot just could use some updates over the next few years

Breakfast is awesome. Check-in is easy. The rooms are clean and have everything you need. The shared facilities are good. There's enough facilities and the vibe is really good in the common areas.

Oh, I realy like this place. Sweet little Hostek, good Equipet, nice and clean rooms. Warm and clean showers, best breakfast (incl. Fresh eggs, pancakes and te se coca). Instead of breakfast you can get a lunchbox for early start. The staff is super friendly and helpfull. You can book tours and get tipos for things to do and places to go.

Rodrigo and the team were simply fantastic and super accomodating. Very homely feel. Great breakfasts provided and even kind enough to prepare day packs with food if you were leaving before the breakfast started.
