It was really cold at night, especially in the bathroom because of the lack of any radiator/ heater and drafty windows.

I stayed at this property for 3 nights and had a wonderful experience. The location is perfect: close to everything, yet in a quiet and safe area. Gustavo was amazing! Always helpful and kind, he assisted me with everything and even allowed me to leave my luggage after checkout. Excellent breakfast. Highly recommended!

Our stay in Siete Colores was perfect. The location is close to downtown, there are small shops and pastery nearby. Mr Gustavo welcomed us very warm, and because of early arrival he managed an early check-in and prepared breakfast for us. Our room was clean and comfortable, with access to the garden. Very good choise for stay in San Pedro!

The siete colores Hostel was absolutely amazing. The Location ist Close to the City Center and right at the Bus Station. The rooms are Clean and there ist really good WiFi and you can Take a nice hot shower. The Host Gustavo Takes Care of everything you need. You can reach him 24/7 and He will help you No Matter what. Thanks again for everything Gustavo mi Amigo! On top there is the best breakfast we had on our Trip. We can totally recommend the place and we will definetly come back!! Nothing. It was as described. However - even though it was advertised to take VISA - it did not. That should be changed on the listing and on the door which displays a VISA sign.

Breakfast times were a little restrictive, especially if you had an early departure, we were allowed to help ourselves either which felt a little mean. We did make use of the fridge and prepare our own sandwiches.

Location was good, just a short safe walk to main town and close to the bus station. Room and bathroom were a good size, everything worked as expected and it was comfortable. The layout of the courtyard and breakfast area allowed for interaction with other guests without it being too in your face.

Gustavo is an incredible host. He's full of life, is very cheeky and very very very friendly and helpful. I felt like I was being hosted by my grandfather. Breakfast was great, the place is beautiful and the beds are comfy. The water out of the shower is toasty hot. Don't know what else to say. Definitely the most personality we've had of a host in South America and we loved it.

This isn’t something we didn’t like, but others might find difficult, Gustavo runs the place by his own rules! Booking.com says you can pay on card, but when we got there he said we needed to pay in cash, booking.com says check out is 11.30 but we had negotiate for a 11am check out. However this also worked the other way, Gustavo offered us lunch or cooked items at breakfast which aren’t usually included, so it was a bit of give and take. Our only major concern was the security of our room, whilst the outside of the hostel is very secure (big gates and very secure front door), the door on our room didn’t double lock and the window in our room didn’t have a lock on it at all so could be opened from the outside. We didn’t mind this too much, given we trusted Gustavo and met most of the other guests, but a safe/locker to know your valuables are safe would have been helpful. Finally, the rooms really need bed side lamps - this js a very small addition which would make a big difference!

Gustavo was really welcoming, and a great host throughout our stay - he is quite the character who made us laugh throughout our time at Siete Colores. The room was as described/matched the pictures, it was a good size and the bed was comfortable. The room was very clean and you had the option of daily cleaning of the room which is very good for the price point of the hostel. The location was ideal for us, 10 min max walk to town, through what seemed like a safe neighbourhood and it was very quiet at night. Breakfast was basic but in line with what we expected for a free hostel breakfast. Overall we felt it was quite good value for money - Gracias mi Amigo Gustavo!

The only point is that the rooms don't have a fan, which can be very hot during the day; opening the door and curtains takes away some of your privacy since it faces other rooms. (I discovered late that we could have requested a fan, but I also can't say if it would have been an additional cost or not). Some people staying there forget that they are in a shared environment, and talk very loudly on the phone, late at night under our window. But this is not the hosting's fault, but I would recommend adding some warnings to remind you that you are in a shared environment.

The atmosphere is simple but welcoming. We stayed in a room with a private bathroom, which was quite spacious. Gustavo was an excellent host, very friendly, and helped us in the best way possible. If you go on tours very early in the morning, he will prepare a snack for you to take with you, given that breakfast only starts at 8 AM. However, we went on tours super early and had our coffee on the tours. So I don't know how to evaluate whether the hostel's breakfast is good or not, but I believe it is. The place is very clean and well located, being a 15-20 minute walk to the main street, which has restaurants, a pharmacy, a bank, etc. It is very quiet to sleep. There is a shared kitchen where you can leave items in the fridge, use the stove if necessary, or prepare your own snack. Thank you, Gustavo, for welcoming us so well and facilitated our check-in, which was scheduled to be only 3 pm, and we arrived quite tired at 9 am, and he was able to fit us in an open room very quickly. Gratitude!

room was pretty hot on the first day as we didn't have a fan. but after requesting, we were able to get a fan on the second day which made the rest of our stay comfortable. would be nice if every room had a fan.
