Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United StatesWe visited during Winter in Chilean Patagonia so it was cold, but very clear. The weather was out of their control. The advantage was that it was beautiful with the snow and we had the national park to ourselves.
The breakfast was excellent with scrambled eggs, pastries, cold cuts, bread, cereal, and orange juice and coffee. I might be leaving out something, but it was a satisfying spread.

NetherlandsNothing, honestly everything was great.
Robert was an excellent host, who also included me to hang out with some of his friends and family that were visiting him at the lodge. He arranged all my activities for me and was very flexible. Also the breakfast, lunch and dinner were great. It was more like visiting a friend than staying at a hotel.

MexicoI had an incredible stay at Konkashken lodge! Everything from the moment I arrived to the day I left was perfect. The space was clean, cozy, and beautifully set up for a relaxing getaway. The atmosphere and surroundings added so much to the experience—it truly felt like a peaceful escape. Communication with the Patrick was smooth and friendly, making the entire stay effortless. It is just located 800m away from the south entrance of Parque Nacional Torres del Paine so it’s so convenient for us. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a memorable and comfortable stay!

IrelandFantastic location near many of the beautiful attractions in Torres Del Paine. The bungalows were great and very clean. The dinner service was also amazing, as were the hosts. I'd stay here again if I were in the region.

United StatesLovely experience, super peaceful with a family feel. The terrace area gives you a beautiful view of the river and mountains. The room was a bit small, with 2 suitcases it felt a bit crowded. But the wood oven kept us super cozy at night and the bathroom though small is modern. Patrick is a great host and Natalia really went above and beyond with her friendliness and excellent English. The dinner is a bit pricey but I guess that's normal for that area. Good food made my chef Niko.

United StatesN/A everything was great!
Loved the property, the views, the staff, the pets, the food! Truly a great experience. Everything was amazing! We had the 4 bunk bed lodge and it was roomy. We had everything we needed, the communal areas were great to use to enjoy the views. Dinner was amazing and they were able to accommodate our vegan friend. Will definitely stay here again if we ever make it back to Patagonia!

United StatesPatrick, the owner, was incredible! He totally saved us when we got a flat tire. There are no service stations for 90 miles, but Patrick repaired our flat on the spot. He also offered to sell us gasoline if we ran short (which is easy to do in Torres del Paine - no service stations anywhere near). The view from the lodge across the Serano River towards the Horns was amazing.

CroatiaThe main negative detail is wood burning stove. It is fine during the day, but you have to be very careful not to place too much logs because the cabin space easily reaches unbearable 28 C or more. During the night it is an imperative to wake up once in order to place a log. Otherwise, the cabin becomes very cold and unpleasant. A gas stove would be a definite solution. In the end, the price is really high, although somewhat understandable because of the remoteness of the area.
Konkashken Lodge is one of the most original accommodation concepts I have encountered so far. We had a small cabin for ourselves and felt very privileged in this paradise like natural setting. It is important to emphasize that the nature where the property is located is of outstanding beauty with its rivers on the plain area and with the mountains not far away. The cabin is equipped with the wooden stove and a small kitchen and in front of it there is a small porch that is ideal for sitting and talking about the details that were seen that day. Also, it is essential to emphasize that the property can be considered as highly ecologically efficient and nature friendly. The staff is also very welcoming and helpful.

BelgiumIt was all more than perfect 👌
This is a wonderful place for discovering the Torres Del Paine park. Patrick sent us a good deal of information before we got there. He counselled us on the day trips and that helped so much to maximise our time on the ground. He booked our Lake Grey boat trip and a horse riding trip. He also saved our holidays as he repaired twice our flat tyres in an impressive amount of time. We really enjoyed being there so much. Having a stove in the little house was so cool and warm. We also ate wonderfully well in the mornings and evenings. Our food restrictions were so well accomodated (diabetes and vegetarian). The view from the terrace was amazing. We hope to be back in the future 🤗

SwedenA small kitchen towel and some salt would make the cabin even better.
Thank you Patrick and Nico for being so hospitable and nice and solving the problem with our bookings! Our cabin was cosy and comfortable and the one dinner we had was really good. We brought our own food for our other meals and breakfast and that worked fine. Next time we’ll come, Nico will certainly have learnt how to pronounce Lago Nordenskjöld correctly. 🤗
