Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomI didn’t like the breakfast, it was too basic for the price per night. We expected Chilean pastries or something to remind us about their culture. Also, the hotel is in front of street and the room was extremely noisy since the road was super busy all the time. The room was big but noisy and made sure the curtains and windows were closed properly.
The location was perfect. The staff were welcoming and made our stay more pleasant and comfortable.

SwitzerlandWould have expected better for the price and supposed 4 stars. The hotel is nice and so are the rooms, but commons are not very well maintained nor very clean. Only one coffee + water left at the beginning of the stay - a 4 stars hotel should offer it every day. The most annoying thing was about the noise though: there are no double glazing windows in the room and at night it is very noisy with the cars passing just like you were outside on the street. Wouldn’t come back.

United StatesI wish the ventilation fan in the bathroom had worked but I never found a way to turn it on.
I've stayed in the hotel twice and had great experiences both times. Loved the king sized bed, the spacious sunny room, excellent shower, rooftop pool, great location.

United StatesRoom setup was weird - no table or place to put things near entrance. One lamp did not work and lighting overall was weak. Also hard to change temperature.
Staff were super friendly and helpful, and luckily for us spoke English. Rooftop terrace was great, beautiful views, and relaxing. Size of room was great. Location was really nice - quiet and nice area of the city, still close to restaurants and metro.

United KingdomNot the property itself more the rules of Chile, be prepared to put everything on credit card or you’ll be charged 19% to use debit cards in the hotel . They seem to want US dollers too (cash seems ok to use)
Great location and stunning design . Short walk from cable cars Nice length pool at the top if a swimmer but it’s very narrow Restaurant food very nice

United Arab EmiratesWhat I didn’t like was the breakfast—it felt quite limited, with very few options, and the only hot dish available was eggs, which was a bit disappointing.
What I liked about Ladera Boutique Hotel is that it’s a beautifully designed, modern, and stylish place with great interior decor and a cozy, comfortable atmosphere. The pool was a highlight, offering a fantastic view, and the staff were incredibly helpful and attentive, making the stay even better.

Czech RepublicThe hotel's location is within walking distance of the cable car to Cerro San Cristobal and about 15 minutes walk from Sky Costanera. The swimming pool has a spectacular view of just the Sky Costanera and other skyscrapers. The staff is friendly and helpful. However, the hotel could use some upgrading to get 10. The pool would be good to clean and paint and so would the bathrooms, I stayed at this hotel 6 years ago and you can see it has become a bit run down.

United Kingdom- whilst clean, the property is now beginning to look a little run down and needs some touching up (for example the shower head had lots of limescale)
- the location is convenient with the turistik bus picking up from right outside. - the staff (Sara on reception especially) were very helpful. - roof pool looked nice (sadly too cold for me to try - weather wise)

BoliviaWe had to ask twice to have the coffee capsules replenished, as they usually do in other hotels that have a coffee machine in the room. When they finally replaced them, we were charged....seemed odd.
Location was perfect for us, since we were having a medical check up at the hospital a block away. Also, shops and great restaurants are at walking distance. Breakfast was good and varied. Room was good, no more than needed. Good bed, maybe it would have been nice to have hand towels, only one was provided the first day and then it was gone and not replaced. Staff was great, always willing to help in any way. It is good to be at a place were staff seems to enjoy their job!
