Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

CanadaEverything was good except for the beds. Maybe they could invest in more comfortable mattresses. This being said, it was fine for a night. The breakfast was lovely and the staff were very helpful and friendly.

CanadaThe rooms/bathrooms could do for a refurbishment, as all feel a bit dated; water in the shower was a bit tepid. Would be nice to have a mini-fridge in rooms, as shown in the pictures on booking.com. A good deal at the discount rate we paid, though the listed prices seem a bit steep for the quality of the rooms.
The hotel is conveniently located in the centre of Punta Arenas and has modern facilities, including 24-hour reception, a full bar and restaurant. Breakfast was awesome, with tons of fancy pastries and nice coffee, plus heaps of eggs, meats, cheeses, and fresh breads. The rooms are spacious and the beds are comfortable. Wi-fi is reliable, if not as fast as some locations in Chile that we stayed. We ate dinner in the restaurant since everything else was shut down for the holiday; the food was unexpectedly really quite delicious, the servers attentive and thoughtful even though they were slammed, and the bar serves nice cold Austral Calafate Ale on tap. Staff very helpful throughout our stay in arranging a taxi in the morning of New Year's Day and storing some beers in their bar fridge.

United KingdomOnly stayed one night. No issues.
Location is great. We arrived late and no issues with check in. And could park on the street for free in the evening. Breakfast was good. With a few decent options.

United KingdomCarpet was a wee bit tired looking but apart from that it was fine.
The staff were very professional and extremely helpful . At check in they flagged up the importance of presenting the Chilean immigration paper ( PDI ) as a means of avoiding an additional tax payment .

CanadaGreat location, super super great services and friendly staff that cleans my room out of expectations! The room is ok, very old with the sink half clogged. Bed is comfortable. It’s not a modern hotel but functional to stay for the location.

United StatesThe hotel was pretty loud. I believe there were a few sports groups staying there and there was constant chatter/congregating in the halls and the walls are pretty thin.
The location was great, you could easily walk to the waterfront and along the main streets of the town. Breakfast was very good.

United StatesDon't expect modern amenities at this hotel. Decor, beds, and amenities feel outdated and far from modern.
Hotel Los Navegantes has decent rooms, a great lobby, a great included breakfast, and centrally located in Punta Arenas. The cost was affordable for a decent, comfortable, and clean room and the breakfast was great. If you'd like to customize a breakfast item or eat something not at the buffet, you can ask the staff and they'll be happy to help out.

IrelandRoom quality does not correspond to 3*. Beds warn out, but the price is fair and adequate compared to other hotels.

ChileThe hotel is awfully old. The closest and the bathroom looks from the 90s. Furthermore, the room has a carpet quite old and in bad condition and last but not least, the breakfast is terrible. I will never book again.
Just the location.
