The hosts were very nice, the view of ocean and beautiful grounds from the Cabañas, the location, their tours, and the airport pickup/dropoff. Beautiful stay!

    Bed mattress could be updated.

I am very happy that I chose Cabanas Mana Nui. The pre-arrival information was clear and comprehensive and the pick up and check in process were uncomplicated and smooth, enhanced by a leisurely at the airport and guava juice on reaching the Cabañas. The location was excellent, close to the Sunset spot and good restaurants and not far from the centre of Hanga Roa. As a solo traveller it was kinda reassuring to be checked in on each day. Every request I made was realised. The kitchenette was well equipped, the water was hot, everything worked, the gardens were beautiful, I could see the sea from my comfortable room - what more can I say?

Location. Lovely garden a view of the ocean too from the veranda. Huge kitchen which was great to make a lovely breakfast and 1 dinner too. Very nice of the owner to stop at a supermarket and help me buy provisions.Huge bedroom with a standing fan which was useful. Lovely touch of being given a Moai necklace when I left .

Tiny bathroom. Considering the other room sizes - more could be taken from bedroom to make it larger. Other reviews said the owners organised trips etc. I asked but nothing came of my enquiries . No mosquito measures and I got bitten badly despite putting on anti mosquito lotion. Taken to airport too early (though we missed the heavy rain by doing so) and cafe was closed until we were let in for boarding area. A lot of standing.

Location was absolutely perfect. The room was very basic & had no a/c. Owner Vicki ( she doesn’t speak English) provided fan when we requested it but, electricity frequently went out. It was very hot in humid all the time. Vicki the owner was impossible! She quoted us prices for 2 day PRIVATE tour and then doubled the price. I had written pricing details down & confirmed with her when we checked in. We agreed with her that we wanted the private 2 day tour from 2 people. We found out on the scheduled day of our tour that PRIVATE TOUR meant that we shared a van with other guests staying at HER inn! Very, very ugly situation. We agreed to pay the double rate & share the tour with other guest. The guide that they provided didn’t have a great command of English even though we were told it would be an English speaking guide. Vicki’s husband drove us around for the 2 day tour. He was very pleasant but didn’t speak English either. Another guest of German descent that had lived in Chile and spoke English & Spanish was on the shared tour with us. She provided translation services for both Nathanial and Vicki. Found out Vicki didn’t pick HER up from airport but lied and said she was there. The airport is VERY small. You couldn’t have missed her! She WAS there to pick us up but on her way to the inn she asked if we wanted a pick anything up at the grocery store? The wanted to wait but she implied that this would be our ONLY opportunity to purchase groceries without a 15 min walk! We purchased $25 of food. By her reaction, I got the impression that this purchase was buying HER street cred with either friends and family members. We immediately drove past SEVERAL grocery stores that were within a shorter walking distance. I felt used! We got lucky with our room. Very close to office so we had good Internet when we had electricity. Other rooms weren’t as lucky.

The place was quiet and clean. I stayed for 3 nights and didn't use the kitchen

When i picked up cabañas mana nui. I didn't pay attention that the facility doesn't have a/c. With 80%humidity and temperatures above 80f i was very uncomfortable. Also, they supply a standing fan which doesn't help.

Our cabin was spacious and comfortable and included a kitchen and laundry facilities — just what we needed! The hostess was super helpful in booking tours for us, and the location was ideal. We especially enjoyed the small porch. Great place to watch the sunset!

The only drawback was the lack of AC or better ventilation to catch the breeze.

Small family run place, very quite, nice garden, sea view from the bed, very close to Ahu Tahai, amazing sunsets. The family is very nice and helpful. I loved the place, a very good private alternative to hotels.

Location, owners are friendly and helpful with information, got us an excellent guide, who was awesome. Gave us a portable fan when asked. The facility to cook in kitchen made it a wonderful experience. Bought some fresh tuna from the market and cooked.

Would have been better if they were fully stainless steel spoons and fork. Wish the soap bar was a bit bigger.

Location was perfect, close to Tahai, so we were able to see Moais right away, as soon as we dropped our luggage at the house! The house was simple but clean and very spacious for our family (one room for each of the 4 of us), and the owners were beyond nice!! We forgot our ipad and they managed to bring it to us in the airport, after we had already checked in. Also, really appreciated that they picked us up and dropped us off at the airport.

Excellent hosts, always smiling, always ready to help. Went out of their way to make us feel at home. Came to the airport to pick us up and dropped us off. Drove us to the market and nearby restaurant and arranged tour guide. Extended check out time, provided extra towels, always answers any questions with a smile that never wavered. Kudos to the hosts! The location was great, easy walk to City center, spacious room and good kitchen.

The negatives are to do with the remote location not particularly this hotel. So some bathroom facilities and other equipment are dated but hey you're not in NYC so stop complaining. Enjoy the chickens and cats and dogs and lizards.

We had a lovely stay here. Bicky welcomed us at the airport with a floral necklace and drove us to the place explaining about the area around. Room was spacious and bright, we also had a kitchen area where we could make tea coffee/cook and a fridge to store stuff but we used very little. Location was great, close to one of the sites and very quiet, we often when stargazing close by there. All small details were welcomed included laundry and Marcelo was so nice to took us by the airport when we checked out. The 3 small dogs were also around and very nice every time we arrived. Loved the garden and the quiet around there.

Wi-fi a bit weak in the room but didn't matter because barely used when you are away in easter island :)

Vickie and Marcelo are wonderful people. Vickie collected me at the airport...and Marcelo took me back there when I left. The cabin is beautifully rustic, spacious with great character. The wifi was excellent and the location is close to Tahai beach with its impressive moai statues. It's an easy walk to cafes and Pea beach where you can swim and watch numerous sea turtles which come in close to feed. An unforgettable experience. Do visit the close-by cemetery....it's the most beautiful and characterful I've ever seen and a must-see though respectfully of course.

    Nothing.

The cost of laundry is a bit steep.
