How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

wifi was satisfactory for my use . Good in the Common area . Room was a bit dated, Shower Pressure not high , but ok , hot :)
quirky exterior design and room layout. stayed mid level , 4th Floor . Good breakfast , good location , easy access to local food places , metro stations a short distance . Helpful staff with good English to be understood .. Good Air Conditioner . Weather in August was bit Chilly at night ,, plus 5-6 degrees. Good Bed , Good location for walkabout Centro Santiago. For me , this was a good Stay . Thank you , much Gracias

From the moment I arrived, the hotel staff provided exceptional service. Their willingness to store my luggage free of charge on my departure day was greatly appreciated and significantly improved the overall experience. The night shift receptionist's thoughtful safety tips and warm welcome added a personal touch that truly made me feel valued as a guest.

My room was freezing cold. I used the provided blanket, and had to keep the heater on whenever I was in the room, and throughout the night.
The location is fantastic to explore Santiago and a range of nearby parks to enjoy, and places to eat. Great access to public transport.

Windows didn't close, so the room was noisy. Breakfast was average - scrambled eggs, cheese, salami and bread.
Our room had AC, so we could heat up our room. Shower was hot and the room was big enough. Staff was friendly and helpful, they even allowed us to check in before provided time. Location was good, near the park and restaurants, but it didn't seem safe.

the room is a little outdated and worn out. also the building is close to main road with lots of car so can be noisy for done people.
location - 15 min walk to old town. 5 min walk to metro. walkable to funicular. good value including buffet breakfast. great communication with staffs as they speak good english. ask the front desk to reserve taxi, much cheaper than reserving from airport or online. They have good heater and hot water which was perfect for this cold winter.

One of the staff members on the reception was rude and lacked empathy
The location is great! The room was good, but even though there is an elevator to the floor, you had to go an extra flight of stairs up and down to get to the room

On a main road with lots of traffic noise

Location of the hotel is excellent! Right in the middle of Lastarria quarter. We had an upgrade for our room and had the biggest bed ever.

Room with no acoustic isolation in the windows, very noisy traffic in the street, the room´s doors are very side by side due to architecture of the building, lot of noise in the hall. SHOWER BOX VERY SMALL FOR OBESE GUESTS, one can get hurt with the metal soap holder. No fridge in the room.
The cleanning was impecable, nice clean towels, clean floors and bed made evry day, very confortable bed, breakfast good enough with all essentials plus nice scrambled eggs and fruits. AC worked fine,

The toilet needs abit of servicing. By the time I was done with the shower, there's a pool of water in the shower area. Lots of noise coming from neighbors opening and closing doors next to me. Also, noise from road traffic just in front. Perhaps rooms need to invest in soundproofing windows & walls to make for an excellent stay.
Great location. It's in the nice part of town, near to a University and a college I think. Felt safe around the area. The cafes nearby were great, good food & coffee options to choose from. I arrived very early and the staff allowed me to check in.

Tv not international ,no English news channels. Money changing facilities very far away and complicated to find.
Excellent breakfast and reasonable rate. Great location near park on a hill outside.Also next to Main Street with restaurants. Great receptionist help for tour booking.
