The facilities and the furniture in the room seemed a bit old.

Great location, close to many of the main things I wanted to see, and in a calm area. The stuff is very nice and available, there is the possibility to leave the luggage in their storage room for free, and to pay directly at the place.

Front desk clerk when checking in did not accept my US dollar bills saying they were "rotas" or not clean. Our luck was that my wife had some extra "clean" bills in her wallet which made us save the 19% IVA tax.

The room was clean. It was a good size. Everything worked. Air conditioning, TV, refrigerator in the room I had, good shower. There was an elevator and stairs. Breakfast was included in the price I chose. Comfortable bed. Wonderful staff.

Really enjoyed the breakfast in the dining room. It was delicious and the dining room was very pleasant to relax in and enjoy the meal. The recorded background music in the dining room was excellent. In my room the bed was comfortable, with an updated bathroom and very good quiet air conditioning. Front desk staff members were very helpful. Will definitely stay at Hotel Nippon when I am in Santiago again.

Great staff, nice. helpful. breakfast ok but coffee was bad. room was super comfy. i would recommend it . they let me leave my luggage after checking out so i could come back and pick it up when my transportation arrive.

The breakfast choice is very limited, and when you're there for 4 days very repetitive. The evening receptionists are not helpful or welcoming at all. Also, there's a not-so-secret bar in the basement and they let the karaoke partiers up the volume as they like and they don't care if it disrupts the guests. I stayed Sun-Thu, I woke up multiple times on my last night thanks to the noise, I had go down to reception to ask them to lower the volume and the awful receptionist was trying to pretend that the noise you could clearly hear in reception wouldn't reach my room just one floor above. So watch out if you're staying on the 2nd floor.

As other reviews mentioned the hotel is a little outdated, but it's comfortable enough for a few nights and the location is great. The daytime receptionist is warm, welcoming, and helpful. He switched my room when I was assigned a windowless room with a single bed -thought that "mistake" should have never happened since I paid for a double room- but, he fixed someone else's mistake.

This building seems to actually be meant to be a hotel, so that compared to the other places I've stayed in Santiago, this is more comfortable. It has an elevator, it has good air condition, it has big windows and bright rooms, it has a stable wifi - none of these are a given, haha. The Japanese theme gives the place a bit of personality, too, and the surrounding area is really nice.

Wifi didn’t really get to our room, and when we asked the younger chap on reception to help, he just said he couldn’t. The other staff on reception were much more helpful and let us onto another network, but still didn’t work.

The property room was amazing, with a huge bed and great bedding and AC. The breakfast was also amazing and the staff there were friendly.

There was a party at the hotel and the facility sent a note (and invitation) with earplugs and chocolate. Overall nothing too bad especially since my room was far away.

The wifi had some issues, so it didnt always work properly. But it seemed like that was temporary. The shower had the choice between water pressure and warmth.

The room was small but comfortable. We would have liked to check-in earlier than 3 pm, as we arrived in Santiago at 8am, but they allowed us to keep our bags.
