IsraelThere was a problem with the hot water in the evening, almost none was left to use. The TV in one of our rooms were not working and although someone came to fix it, he couldn't find the problem and we were left without working TV. I think was bothered us most was the very low quality breakfast. Almost nothing to eat. We came at 10 when the breakfast was up to 10:30 and there were no eggs left, no kind of vegetables, only 1 sweet dessert, 2 types of cheese and 2 ham types. Even for tea they had only 1 plain option of black tea. We've expected this kind of hotel to serve high quality breakfast and got very disappointed.
The hotel itself was exceptional, everything was incredibly pretty and the view from the room to both pool and ocean were amazing to wake up to. The staff were very helpful and friendly and the late night dinner weve ordered was very tasty.

United StatesIn Room 215 (the first room we were sent) the hot water was at best tepid in the morning, and cold the rest of the day. There was no heat in the room. After we were moved to Room 105 there was both heat and hot water. In both rooms however, the drain in the sink and the shower were very slow - taking up to 15 minutes to fully drain all the water.
Service was excellent: Mario at the front desk (+ the two others) and Hector the Chef (Host in the Restaurant) were wonderful. They went out of their way to insure we were comfortable. Overall the access to the harbor (for a pelagic birding trip) was great - just a five minute drive. And the nearby wetlands had some good species...one final note for birders: if you go past the supermercado outside town and continue south you will reach a grassland with pine groves (+ Eucalyptus trees) that has Burrowing Owl, Barn Owl and Horned Owl. Finally: all the restaurants in town are overpriced - the one in the hotel is actually pretty good with the best ambiance and views...we recommend eating there OR going to local bakeries and the supermercado at the edge of town to get food - save your money nothing especially amazing food wise in Quintero.
