Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

An amazing stay in a beautiful vineyard setting! The rooms are unique, offering a direct view of the vineyards, beautifully designed in a clean and elegant colonial style. The property features a large pool, easy access to excellent restaurants, and is just a short walk from a stunning vineyard where you can enjoy wine tastings and scenic walks. A truly special place—highly recommended!

Hotel Terraviña in Santa Cruz is a wonderful place to stay, offering a peaceful vineyard setting, comfortable rooms, and warm hospitality. The staff is welcoming, the atmosphere is relaxing, and the breakfast is excellent. A perfect spot for a getaway in Chilean wine country! We had a fantastic experience at the breakfast at Hotel Terravina in Santa Cruz, Chile. The food was excellent, it was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. From delicious cakes to perfectly cooked eggs and fresh fruit, every detail was well thought out. The service was equally impressive. The staff was attentive, friendly, and genuinely welcoming, ensuring a relaxed and enjoyable start to the day. The dinner at the on restaurant was also great. It was simple, fresh, and well prepared. The wait staff were great, front desk made arrangements for transportation, held our luggage and were overall very friendly.

AustraliaMore annoying than anything was having to pay for a bottle of water at the bar when really they should be provided for free when staying there. The nearest shop was not within walking distance so you were forced to buy from them. Also a kettle and coffee/tea etc. should be provided in a place like this. Small issues but make a big difference when staying at a hotel.
Brilliant place, especially after busy Santiago. So quiet, all you could hear was bird song, but only a short walk from several excellent restaurants. Staff were really nice and the suite was spotlessly clean and comfortable. Plenty of parking and a nice bar and restaurant on site. Breakfast was really nice.

United KingdomThe location was fantastic…short walk through the vineyards to 3 restaurants & 1 tasting tour (at Laura Hartwig). José answered all our pre-visit questions so we knew where to book. Rustic vibe…but everything works, good WiFi , super clean, aircon was a lovely addition. Staff were really friendly in the bar. We had a hire car so booked Montgras (tour) & Viu Manent (lunch)…all great. Ate in the Italian restaurant Vino Bello 1 night & the hotel.

Amazing breakfast, spacious room, and proximity to great vineyards. The reception desk was really helpful and provided us a lot of information. Additionally, the rooms were very cozy. We ate at the restaurant twice and the food was amazing!

United StatesWe stayed at Terravina for several nights while visiting the Santa Cruz area. The hotel made a wonderful base for our excursions. The gorgeous grounds have comfy couches to enjoy the great sunset views of the surrounding mountains. The staff were helpful in making reservations for us. United StatesAmazing Hotel in the heart of the Colchagua wine region. So fun to walk thru the vineyards to a couple of restaurants nearby and the Laura Hartwig Vineyard. Staff was so helpful and assisted with booking wine tours and also provided excellent recommendations for a day trip to the coast. Close to downtown Santa Cruz, we walked the mile into town. The breakfast was delicious - fresh strawberry juice, wonderful spread and plentiful. Pool was a perfect way to cool down at the end of the day! This place is a tranquil property that you don't want to leave! Highly recommended.
