It was near the express bus from/to the airport, just 3 blocks away. The staff were so nice and kind, they tried to communicate with me although they didn’t speak English! But this is not a problem if you have installed Google Translate. Also, the breakfast was basic, but still enough for me!

If you are put into the room along the road, it is going to be a little noisy.

Comfortable bed, welcoming staff. Issues with showers - they do need replacing. No hangers in cupboards and no hooks to hang anything. The staff helpful. The place is a bit off centre but Los Heroes tube station and airport bus are only 15 min walk away. The hostel is quiet but the road outside is busy. No communal areas, so breakfast brought to rooms. Horrible squash and instant coffee but always fruit and yogurt and a small hot sandwich.

Great stay overall! Safe and quiet location, near grocery stores, a few restaurants, the metro station is 4 blocks away, comfortable bed and clean shared bathrooms, accommodating staff and the owners take great deal of care of their guests. You can keep your bags after checking out, which helps a lot :D. Breakfast is abundant and good!

Missed to have a fan or A/C inside the room, it was stuffy at night and I had to leave the window open. The biggest drawback is the WiFi, poor and spotty.

I only stayed here to rest between a flight and an overnight bus, but the staff was very accommodating. Transfer from the airport via the bus service helped though it seemed to be farther to the hotel from the bus stop than I expected

Room didn't have a window except to the hallway.

The staff are marvellous. Francisco, the owner is a fantastic guy alongside his helpful daughter. He facilitated my onward journey to the airport at a moments notice and didn,t charge me much for this kind service. I had too much baggage and couldn,t cope with the walk up to the metro at Republica and then catch the 407 bus I wanted from San Pablo to Pudahuel. One other staff member, I think her name was Doris, saved me the trouble of going to the lavanderia about a km away by foot, and did a great, quick and crisp job in no time at all! Nicole too is very diligent with the morning breakfast which was the same but very welcome anyway. Location is quite good for the metro and for the airport bus which arrives at Los Heroes. This bus is very cheap at 2000 or so , but a fair walk from Los Heroes to this University Hotel. Showers always had hot water, but space on the ground floor is at a premium, and gets busy at times.

I was only left with a single room as I booked here too late. A double room is much more sensible and not that much more expensive. I did get the one with a window, but still the street noise was quite relentless as it was on the ground floor. However, some students stay here for extended periods and cope very well. There are many microwaves available which are clean as well as the fridge, which was extremely useful. No recreation area.

I like the breakfast, shower and kitchen. But I would prefer more fruit.

Breakfast should have more fruit with fiber.

So many things were so good! Breakfast was simple, but then what can one expect in a 2-star hotel? Everywhere was really clean. the staff were most kind and helpful. my room was spacious and comfortable. The icing on the cake was discovering that the hotel is only 10 mins walk away from a frequent and remarkably cheap bus service at Los Heroes to and from the main airport.

The locks on the doors could have been better, I would have appreciated a dead bolt.
