I didn't have data or phone to contact the hotel for the free shuttle from the airport but figured it was close, so I'd just walk or get a taxi - terrible idea! I made a lot of incorrect assumptions 🙄 The roads aren't really walkable - designed for traffic and no-one had heard of the hotel which was a problem because the address was only written in English in Booking.com, which my taxi driver couldn't read. 3 phone calls to the hotel later, we finally found it. It's not far off a main road but lots of little roads to get from that main road to the hotel. What should have been straightforward became a big dea with the language barrierl. It's about a 10 minute drive if you go direct which is still further than you'd expect given how physically close it is to the airport . Also - be sure to have cash for a taxi! Also didn't love the very minimal English spoken by the check in staff. Glad I didn't have any difficult issues to resolve because their enthusiasm for helping wasn't great. No English TV channels but maybe that's normal- it's not an English speaking country 🤷‍♀️

Room was new and very well appointed. Good gym and very nice breakfast (albeit with terrible coffee). The things that were good were very good. A super comfy room and bed with lots of provided amenities (hair dryer, toiletries, slippers)

Basically no one is speaking English. I’m not expecting so much but the hotel is 3 km away from one of the biggest international airports in all Asia, and it’s a bit annoying to have all this communication issues.

The cleaners could do better Their notices and writings are all in Chinese! English as a global language should be added. The food was only Chinese style! Including continental dishes will be very good.

Location is excellent from the airport. The shuttle was good especially for the Canton fair.

Bus driver service

Had bad experience with the bus driver to the airport. Threw our luggage in the bus like garbage bins

No closet, No TV, No place to store your clothes. I had to leave all my clothes in my luggage. Also, you should have an international menu especially during the Canton Fair.

Super comfortable modern room. Large King bed. Projector in room for entertainment. Separate toilet and bath so that multiple people can get ready, esp for those early morning flights. Great Service. The hotel packed us breakfast since departure was before the restaurant opened. The free shuttle bus to the airport was one time and very efficient.

I didn't like that lack of communication buy staff when I had messaged them on booking.com that we needed to picked up at the airport, we waited for like an hour and a half, I kept calling the hotel no one would answer so I figured I might as well catch a cab. The room i was in the air con was blowing out a very unpleasant smell. I was surprised to see people smoking inside the hotel in the elevators , so if your taking kid just be aware of that.

I.liked the rooms they were spacious , beds are nice and big. I like how it's very close to the airport. Staff are friendly but it was so hard to communicate with them, not being able to speak English, thank goodness for the translator app but that was still a bit tricky too lol at the end I started using sign language 😅 it worked lol
