How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)

Verified reviewAcross from the Youth Hostel is Lion Grove. I took Line 6 of the subway and got out of Exit 1 of Humble Administrator's Garden Su Bo Station. It only took a few minutes to stroll there! Turn right 300 meters outside and walk to Pingjiang Road. It's very convenient to listen to Pingtan and play cat games at night! It's been raining these past few days, sitting on the sofa in the lobby of the hostel and daydreaming is also very comfortable! The youth hostel on the street is lively during the day and instantly quiets down at night! Wake up in the morning listening to the chirping of birds! It's not easy in the city! Spending tens of yuan, being able to stay in such a clean youth hostel is worth it! The staff of the youth hostel are also very friendly and always answer any questions! Warm reminders are posted everywhere, making it very reassuring to live here! I really like this quiet atmosphere! I will pass it on to my friends!

Thank you very much for your review, the hostel is located in the heart of the ancient city, less than 3 kilometers from Suzhou Railway Station and less than 400 meters from Humble Administrator's Garden Zhang 1 of Metro Line 6. The car can drive directly to the door of the hostel, the hostel is diagonally opposite the Suzhou Garden Lion Forest, the alley mouth is 300 meters away from the Humble Administrator's Garden and the Suzhou Museum, and it is more than 200 meters to the historical street Pingjiang Road, and the ancient town of Jiangnan is close in front of you. The hundred-year-old shop is dumb and fried, and the green poplar wontons. Yuxing Ji Noodle Restaurant, Wei Ji Ao Stove are within a few hundred meters. For local food in Suzhou, we recommend the Taohuayuanji Pingjiang 2 store on Pingjiang Road, fish and rice. Guanqian Street recommends Deyue Tower and Songhe Tower, and Pishi Street is also full of delicious supper, and you are welcome to come again next time.

Verified reviewHigh quality setup in bedroom with sensible steps design to go to upper bed. Can have a bed with another personal tatami area below my bed. Nice living hall and huge TV, I felt good enjoy.
Enhancement suggestion to add water bidet for toilet to save toilet paper usage. Add dryer to dry clothes immediately after washing machine. Alternatively, there is drying area indoor and outdoor. Just I prefer to have dryer for immediate drying after wash for convenience.

Only thing for me-shower/toilet room was chilly, as there was no heating and it was winter during my stay. But water was hot in shower-so-warmed up fast:)

Verified reviewAlthough I didn’t spend the night at this hostel and only arrived in the morning due to a typhoon, the staff was extremely helpful. They opened the hostel early for me, gave me directions to place worth visiting. Offered to send my towel, which was leaved by acident . Unfortunately, this didn’t happen because of resistance from the next hotel wher i stayed, but i still greatfull . From my impression, the hostel was very clean, and the staff was exceptionally friendly. They even let me sit in the reception area and leave my luggage there.

The address of the hostel: No. 16, Shilinsi Lane, Pingjiang Street, Gusu District, Suzhou, the location is very superior, only 3 kilometers away from Suzhou Railway Station, 15 minutes by taxi, and only 300 meters away from Exit 1 of Humble Administrator's Garden Subo Station of Metro Line 6. It's diagonally opposite the south gate of the Lion Grove. There are many delicacies around, such as Dumb Ba Shengpan, Wei Kee Noodle Restaurant, Peach Blossom Paradise 2 Restaurant, etc. In the peak tourist season, the famous scenic spot Humble Administrator's Garden must buy tickets and make an appointment one day in advance, and the Suzhou Museum must make an appointment on the official website with real name seven days in advance. The Suzhou Museum, the Humble Administrator's Garden and the Pingjiang Road Historical Street are all 300 meters away from us, and there have been 17 champions in history.
