Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

SwitzerlandThe hotel is modern and nice, we found it very comfortable. The bed was large, but like a lot of Chinese hotels there was little space to hang up your clothes, but this is common! We would definitely return and it was a good value for money :)

FranceEverything went very well - I had two consecutive stays within the week - one alone and one with my partner and all went well - I got the studio that I always take when i come here. I love that it has a big balcony and the studio is modern and functional inside but the square still has a nice neighbourhood feel with cats walking around and all feeling very peaceful though in the middle of Beijing. As usual this is my home-from-home place in Beijing and I look forward to being back soon.

United KingdomGreat Hotel, amazingly helpful staff, clean & comfortable. The only issue I had was I couldn’t get on their wifi the whole time I was there. I did tell them, and they did try to help, I just had no luck. This did make things a little difficult. Everything else was great, especially the staff 😊

RussiaI stayed in this hotel the second time. Always great staff, very helpful. Very close to Sanlitun area, all major embassies and the subway station. You can order delivery from the restaurant and there is a special space for it close to the front desk, very convenient.

ChinaNo complaints
The staff is clearly trained to absolutely do their best for guests. Not in a way that feels like a professional duty, but like they actually get joy from being able to help. It’s quite amazing, seems like a great working culture there. For example, they served us breakfast early, because we had an early appointment at the embassy, and they helped plan our timing and travel (walking time). The room (suite) was big and well-appointed. I liked the walk-in closet/changing room a lot. I liked the bathtub.

FranceThis time, my room was located on the outside of the building - not a big issue, of course, but I prefer the inside rooms. Somehow, the hotel seems more geared towards a Chinese audience. The hotel has now invested in a translation machine, which, yes, will cover the basics of communication, but a nice aspect of a 'boutique' place (like this one) is usually that it is possible to briefly chat or receive recommendations, which is not smoothly possible now. Is it really such a hurdle to learn one (international) language in addition to Chinese? It would be a plus.
In general, this is simply a very good hotel and the one where I have stayed when I went to Beijing. The atmosphere is pleasant, the staff very friendly, rooms clean and good and the breakfast tasty. In summary: thanks.

New ZealandIf you are traveling alone and have luggage, take the airport express train to sanyuanqiao station. I recommend booking a taxi via Alipay from Sanyuanqiao Subway Station to the hotel, as the hotel is approximately 1.5 km away. or take a taxi directly from the airport. Walking with luggage is not advisable. and there major construction goin on around the station and you have to go around the fences (Both ends). so its a long walk. (Image attached) Please be aware that taxi drivers can sometimes be unresponsive; it's best to ignore any rudeness. Upon arrival, proceed to the C exit to the roadside to get picked up by the taxi. Once you’ve settled in and are ready to explore, I suggest registering for Alipay identification using your passport. This will allow you to access the blue bicycles available for rent anywhere outdoors. Bicycles provide easy access to both the C2 and C1 entrances of Sanyuanqiao Station. When you’re finished sightseeing, park the bicycle outside the station, then take the subway back. On your return to the hotel, simply pick up an available bicycle from the station and ride back. Traffic is so bad in Beijing i stayed inside my taxi for 2hrs on my departure day to the airport. road are blocked could not move. so better you plan your leave early and recommend you use the airport express back to the airport. or you will miss your flight. Enjoy your stay!
Please note that breakfast must be pre-ordered at least one day in advance, and the cost is approximately 45 yuan. Room The rooms are well-appointed and comfortable, although on the smaller side. Each room includes a good-quality bed, and housekeeping is provided daily, along with new bottled water. Staff 24hr service, Very friendly and very helpful, they will communicate with you on WeChat when you arrive at the hotel. Neighborhood Safe and very crowded. There's KFC and Burger king and some good restaurants. Communication barrier is very high, so ask for menu card or order from the screen in major fast food chains. There is a convenience store right across the street, be careful when you crossing the street, its very dangerous and risky. lol Important Note Before your arrival in China, ensure that you have Alipay and WeChat set up, as well as an eSIM with data or roaming capabilities. Nothing works in China, all the payment or services are done via these apps. firewall is so strong you cannot log into any Gmail, google, google maps with their local wifi or sim cards.
