If you want go out early the breakfast start at 7.30 before is small bufey, so if you plan a lot of trpis really in the morning. Leaving at 7 you will not have proper breakfast.

Very friendly, helpfull staff. English speaking. Very clean. Calm, you dont feel that you are in such a big city. Beautifull terrace. You feel like in an traditional chineese home. Very comfortable bed and blankets. Good food, both breakfasts and dinner in restaurant. 30 min of walk to forbidden city. Good workingAC. 3 Times per week music shows. Some extra friuts and tea. The location, being in a small alley was a little annoying as taxis wouldn't or couldn't get down there and it was a decent walk to either end. But that's probably why it's a bit cheaper, considering the beauty of the place.

The place was absolutely beautiful. Staff were extremely accommodating. I would definitely stay here again. The location was in an alley that let me experience more local way of life than I would've seen otherwise.

Accessibility to the second floor were very steep so a consideration if you have accessibility issues.

Excellent boutique style hotel in a great location. The staff spoke excellent English and were helpful all times especially when we had an issue with a missing passport. Room facilities were excellent with great A/C. Breakfast choice was great and quality and quantity good. Special mention must go to Iris who was an outstanding member of staff who offered a personal, attentive service. Jack was also very helpful and funny. The courtyard is pleasant and quiet and the hotel has calm relaxing vibe.

Spacious room and bathroom, very well decorated and confortable, with everything needed including bathrobes, slippers and an excelent mattress. Beautiful courtyard with a fish pond, a beautiful living room that we didn’t get the chance to enjoy. Breakfast was buffet with eggs, iogurt, fruit, bread, and on top you can order chinese or western dishes. The staff was very kind and helpful, had delicious fruit juice and cool drinks whenever you arrived, and organized a lovely musical performance one night in the courtyard with tea, fruits and nuts and also a caligraphy show, where they offered a scroll with wathever you wanted written on it. Lovely!

The whole atmosphere of the hotel is fantastic and matched by the staff - welcoming, warm and with a relaxed familiarity. Perfectly nestled in the Yanyue huton the location is fantastic with loads of local dining options. From chilling in the courtyard to traditional live music in the weekend, we had a great stay! Will be our hotel again, next time we visit Beijing.

Beautiful serene courtyard with koi pond and bird song. Rooftop terrace seating. Room was large and furnished in traditional chinese decor. Staff were welcoming and responsive. Surprised with evening courtyard traditional music concert and fan brush calligraphy. Quiet location with tea and snacks available.

The curtain on the bathroom/shower in my room needs to be renewed, they are a bit old and molded.

Best accommodation in Beijing. 10 points for the staffs. They speak good English Smooth early check in even I arrived before noon. They provided me an upgrade as well. Love the courtyard and the atmosphere in the garden. Free and good coffee. And the traditional Chinese music performance at night was amazing, and very special. I definitely will come back. The hotel is walking distance from Wangfujing.

There is nothing to dislike at all. We even love the axolotl / salamander, birds and orange frogs which definitely elevated the whole experience!!

Hotel Cote Cour is an exquisite Hutong with traditional elements all carefully maintained within the hotel. We stayed for 3 nights and there are lots of charm awaiting to be discovered :: - Good location ~convenient 10-15mins walk to Dengshikou subway. - Food - good selections of local and western breakfast. Not forgetting the silky wonton soup (complementary during your stay) which is honestly the best I’ve ever eaten!! - Stay & Facility- Apart from the delicate antiques with modern furnishings, keep a lookout for the wonderful performance by string musicians in the evening + calligraphy by a master makes it a memorable and meaningful stay in Beijing - Staff - highly dedicated and competent team, who exudes warmth and professionalism, along with excellent local recommendations from shopping, dining options. Huge shoutout to Tang, Jack & whole team for making it such a memorable stay for us!!

Can stay in a 四合院 and experience how relaxed and quiet the place. The toilet of the room I stayed in has bidet. Night performance was a wow for me.

The water pressure of the toilet is low

The traditional Chinese architecture and decoration is very charming. The staff is very helpful, especially Jack. He not only helped us get situated in the hotel, also helped us with directions and restaurant suggestions He is very friendly and genuinely trying his best to ensure we have everything we need for a pleasant stay. The manager also works very hard. I saw him walking the grounds often to make sure things are running properly, and he will roll up his sleeves and help his staff out if needed.

The set-up in the hutong is very special. Very nicely decorated. Breakfast options are not extensive but sufficient. Rooms are clean, beds are comfortable. Shower is strong. Chinese music performance in the evening. Complimentary snacks upon check-in. Coffee is good!

A beautiful, tranquil small boutique hotel with amazing hospitality. Staffs are very friendly, helpful, and professional. The breakfast was top-notch, and the room was stunning clean, bright, and so comfortable. I love the antique furnishings, traditional Chinese musical performance and calligraphy activities that the hotel provided every evening. Sipping authentic tea while enjoying traditional Chinese musical performance in a serene courtyard made it the perfect retreat after a long day in the sun. Highly recommended!

Very nice hotel, every evening with live traditional relaxing and peaceful music. Staff extremely helpful getting us tickets, drivers, we loved the food (Chinese) in the restaurant, they even gave me new batteries for our kid's gadget, when I was asking where I could by nearby batteries. Can only recommend.
