Location is a bit far from the major tourist attraction like West Lake by car (traffic in Hangzhou is bad); but it is nice that food options are steps away and a pretty big and nice shopping mall is an easy 10 min walk away. Though kitchen is big, there is no cutlery (plates, spoons, forks, chopsticks) provided; also no utensils for cooking. But it’s alright because we could get disposable chop sticks from front desk.

The amount of space for our 2-bedroom apartment - with a hotel front desk - for the price we paid is so value-for-money. Apartment is very well furnished, bathroom is nicely done up, and clean. Our family of 4 loves it. The complimentary welcome snacks/beverages is a nice bonus touch.

The pillows made me sweat at night, probably because of the material used. Lighting in the kitchen could be better.

This was the second time I stayed here. I really love serviced apartments because they come with a fridge and washing machine, allowing me to do some laundry during the trip. In fact, the washing machine also had a dryer. The loft apartment was spacious, well-lit and felt like a 'home away from home'. The staff was friendly. Shama is not in the city center, but it's right next to exit D of the Sanba subway station. The surroundings are nothing to write home about, but Sanba station has lots of catering options. Being relatively centrally located in the north of Hangzhou, you can quickly get to many places by metro in 30 minutes or so (including the high-speed railway station). It's also an affordable option for what your get. Will definitely stay here again when I'm in Hangzhou.

Hotel was spacious and the metro was literally right next to the hotel. The connecting lines easily take you to many of the main tourist hotspots in under 30 minutes. Getting to the airport takes about an hour with only two line changes. Since it is slightly away from the main district, the neighborhood is quiet and very peaceful at night.

I have to emphasize that wifi was rather weak and also the location setting to be outside of MacDonalds (beside the bustop) was probably the most challenging part when it comes to ordering for a DiDi Ride (Online Hailing Ride)

I was impressed with the apartment layout during this trip. The main highlight was that the front load washing machine was available in my room and it had the drying option as well, which was perfect! There was 7eleven, Sukiya, MacDonalds and Subway just below, so it was really convenient for us to get breakfast or a quick lunch before heading out. There is a mall about 1.5km away that you can explore as well. The staff were really helpful with the arrangements during my stay. I appreciate the overall arrangements for me to get a beautiful view of the city as well.

The hotel is very good! It is located far from the center, it takes about 50 minutes by metro. But the metro station is 30 meters from the hotel. The rooms are large, clean, there is a small kitchen, refrigerator, microwave, kettle. Breakfasts, although monotonous, are delicious.

Location is ok, need to walk a little to the nearest sopping mall. Breakfast has a good spread, selection. The hotel provides washing machine at the basement, it's convenient.

Be prepared to take about 40mins train ride from town centre.

Next to subway station, the bed is very comfortable, hotel is a service residence so it is very clean, breakfast spread is quite comprehensive with local authentic food, free ginger tea welcomed drink is provided at the check in counter every morning, staffs are very helpful and polite at the restaurants. Upon checking out, a friendly female stuff helped to book Didi and ensured we waited at the correct spot to get on our taxi.

The communication needs to be improved. I wanted to add another night to my stay but could not adjust my booking. Nobody ever replied to my messages on the Booking.com system and even the Booking customer service didn't get a response. I ended up having to make a second booking at a substantially higher price. Upon check-in the staff told me through Google Translate they could not adjust the price of the second night. Not the best customer experience and will make me doubt if I'll come again to this otherwise fine place.

What was promised and paid for on website booking ( bathtub) and detergent and drying rack etc were not delivered in actual room. The receptionist actually asked me to pay for extra if I want to upgrade room with bathtub. I paid as I need the bathtub for the cold winter. The next morning I feedback to manager and he apologised and reversed the extra charge. Overall receptionists were not friendly and knowledgeable in their job. Also the housekeeping doesn’t wash the used cups or spoons on the table. I wonder is this the standard procedure for the this hotel. So I always came back to an unclean kitchenette during my 4 day stay. Fully equipped kitchenette but no utensils there to use it. For deco purpose only it seems.
