Some noisy guests all the nights during the stay. I propose the hotel to require silence after a certain hour. Last night we had noise until 23:30. The breakfast could be improved giving a larger choice.

The property is on a beautiful scenery, it is built with local architecture lines and it has a swimming pool. Breakfast (with invariable choice) is in a contiguous building uphill. Tiffany was extremely helpful and she speaks perfectly t English which helped a lot communication. Unfortunately it was pouring rain during our stay and we had very limited choices. The private bathroom was outdoors overlooking the nature. Insects might be an issue but we didn’t experience any annoyances.

You are in a remote spot, I was happy there for 4 nights.

This hotel is at the end of a lane about 2 km from the West Gate of Zhangjiajie park. The hotel sits in a valley that it seems to have all to itself. There are 3 buildings and my room was in front down from the pool. The restaurant was a quock and beaitiful stroll. I thought the food was great and was authentic and local. The staff was super kind and helpful. Not cheap, but priced so it really was justified. Zhangjiajie Park was challening and thrilling, maybe even past my limits.

Tiffany was super helpful, she speaks very well english and give very good tips to the park with the map. We could manage by ourselves the visit thanks to her. The hotel is located in an amazing area, the pool is refreshing after a day of hike and visit. The facilities are cleaned, the bathtub is outside the room but it is better as it is humid at this period. The bed was confortable. The breakfast was local, chinese soup, our kid could not eat, but we enjoyed. He did enjoy the rest, dim sum, spongy cakes, fruits, toasts and eggs. For dinner, we could eat at the hotel restaurant if we were tired, otherwise can go to the town. Tiffany and the team have a golf car, super convenient to dropoff to the park and also to town. We strongly recommend the hotel and this national park, our kid really enjoyed and us too ! We stayed there few nights to enjoy this huge national park and the different places (zhangjiaje park, gold whip stream, yellow cave, tianmen mountain,glass bridge, we could not visit tianzi as they closed for few days as too crowded).

We truly enjoyed our stay at Pandora Vista Retreat! The location is absolutely amazing — perfect for anyone looking to explore the breathtaking Avatar Mountains. The views are stunning and it’s close to many key attractions in the area. A special thank you to Tifiny and her colleague, who went above and beyond to make our stay smooth and memorable. From the moment we arrived until the day we left, they helped us with transportation, entrance tickets, and gave us great guidance on visiting the scenic spots. Everything! The location in a quiet rural area, jungle view, pool, balcony, careful decorationss, possibility to order food made by locals for dinner. Big thanks to English speaking stuff. To Linda for her patience with helping to plan my itinerary before my arrival. To Tiffany during my stay for advices, online support on WeChat during my trips out of the property and for waking up early on my departure day! I highly reccommend this place, would love to come back myself.

Amazing hotel, with stunning views and very close to the west gate into the park. Tiffany was exceptional, helped us throughout our stay from meals to planning our day trips, booking tickets for us, arranging transport, and her english is very good! Honestly we don't know what we would have done without her, she really made our stay here special ❤️ We really loved it here, our only regret is not staying longer!

I loved this accommodation and totally recommend it. The rooms were lovely, mine opening out to a lily pond, others onto the pool. They were styley, clean and the whole facility was in a beautiful spot looking straight into the mountains. Tiffany was incredibly helpful in all ways. Gave great recommendations for the park and was available during the day to check in if I felt lost in the park. She’s was exceptional with great English. The hotel is located near the West Gate entrance to Zhangjiajie National Park which seems the best place to be located to be moving against the crowds. We had relatively smooth travel with limited queues but observed huge queues moving in the opposite direction. If you are thinking about accommodation in the area you won’t be disappointed.

Our only regret is that we couldn't stay longer!

Pandora Vista Retreat was truly a highlight of our trip. The resort is beautiful, peaceful, and feels like a hidden gem in the heart of Zhangjiajie. The hospitality was exceptional — Linda, in particular, went above and beyond to ensure we had the best experience possible. She greeted us with genuine warmth, helped us plan our itinerary with a hand-drawn map, and even organised pick-up and drop-off services to fit our short schedule. When it started raining, staff immediately brought us umbrellas. It genuinely felt like staying with family — so welcoming, kind, and attentive to every detail.

In our room, the shower/bath were in a separate section that was a little cold, but nothing unmanageable.

From start to finish we felt very taken care of and looked after by their staff member, Tiffany. She helped us sort taxis to and from the property, helped us book tickets to all of the local attractions and mapped out routes for each day. We are vegetarian, and she was very accommodating in helping us get meals at their restaurant, which were all delicious. The location is great. They offer a shuttle cart ride to the west gate entrance. Views were beautiful and we went in the off-season and there were almost no people.

The hotel is absolutely stunning. It’s right near the West Gate into Zhangjiajie National Park. Tiffany was absolutely amazing! She helpfully provided us with all the info we need, giving us tips and maps and booking our tickets for us. She drove us to the park entrance on the golf cart and in to town for dinner or to buy snacks. All the staff went out of their way to make our stay special! We absolutely loved it and can’t recommend it enough!!
