It's not on the cheaper side but we did get what we paid for. Location wasn't close to any attractions. That one staff that was rude but everybody else was really nice.

Holiday Inn was nice! I had to add more nights before checking in and they conveniently add the nights in, didn't make a fuss about it. the key didn't work on the day when I asked the front desk, she mentioned rudely because I added more nights, but she took care of the problem right away. On the day of check in, staff was really nice, gave map and directions to all the different attractions. Recommended some good food around. when we checked out, our wifi automatically got disconnected but we had to order didi taxi so one of the front desk staff, gave us another wifi access. Location wasn't conveniently located to any major attractions but there are small restaurants all around, so food wasn't any problem. Family Mart is next to the lobby so whenever we were hungry, we can just grab any food or drink.

The facilities are a bit dated - new towels and a new treadmill would be nice, and the restaurant could use some new chairs.

We had a great stay: the staff are welcoming and professional; the breakfast was amazing; and we used the laundromat, gym, swimming pool, and luggage storage service -- all free of charge. The hotel is also conveniently located close to the city center. We used the pay-per-ride bikes to get to every place we wanted to visit, and it was surrounded by good restaurants where we could meet up with friends. The walk by the river was very nice!

They should let the guests decide whether they need a cooling or heating option with the AC. Since we went during winter, we only could use the heater. For longer stays in the room, it is quite hot.

The room size is good. The bathroom is also good. The hotel is cleaner than it looks from the outside. The location is perfect. It has Metro Line 7 access within only 5 minutes of walking. Food options are also very much available in the area. The best part is it has a Family Mart on the ground floor.

In my opinion, the staff were lacking warmth, I even saw them talking among themselves - like urging. This is with guests seated at the lobby. Another observation, the staff at the breakfast cafe don't actively remove empty plates.

The size of the room was spacious for 3pax, the double is good for one adult one kid. Not suitable for 2 adults. A short walk from the train station, surrounded by good eateries, in a very good location. Very good breakfast spread too, I got to try the different types of local delight.

The outside of our room window was a bit dirty, but that’s the only negative I can think of.

Spacious rooms, clean, everything provided (slippers, hairdryer, bath robes, etc). Our room was also very quiet (my husband is a light sleeper), so this is important to us.

The sauna was not working, though a main reason to choose this hotel was the pool and the sauna. The pool was great, though quite crowded with non-guests.

The room was very functional and the hotel staff is extremely professional and helpful. The housekeeping service was also flexible and efficient. The view from the poolside is great. The neighborhood is nice, you can take walks by the canal.

We forgot to bring swimming caps. The prices for those in the hotel are way to much -160 RMB per hat.. Arriving at ouf hotel in Chengdu afterwards, we paid 40 rmb per hat only...
