Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

SingaporeA luxurious experience in this mountain resort hotel. The checkin was smooth and room was well furnished and modern. The beds were huge and firm. Ordered room service and the food was delicious. Short car ride to the starting point of the Emei mountain sightseeing buses. Breakfast spread was good, showcasing the local dishes.

SingaporeBreakfast buffet was so-so.
1. Great location, turn right and walk 10-15m to the bus station to bring you to emeishan. Turn left and it’s the maluqiao food street where plenty of food options await (we tried the 何师烧烤 which was amazing!) 2. Surrounded by a lake and parks, makes for a lovely stroll in the morning/evening. 3. Best facilities I’ve seen in a hotel- indoor/outdoor playground to keep the kids occupied, indoor pool and outdoor hot spring, gym, a beautiful study, loved exploring the hotel itself. 4. Complimentary ride to emeishan train station which is super near.

GermanyThe employees never respond to messages.
It is a nice starting point for discovering the Mount Emei located only 20 minutes by foot from the property. The property doesn't offer any money exchange facilities and is mondern and luxurious like a typical European hotel of that branch. Tickets for the mountain you can get by yourshelf at the ticketing center early in the morning.

United KingdomStaff doesn't speak English, which makes it difficult to communicate at check in or check out. When you book through booking there are hidden fees that you then pay at the hotel and they are not mentioned upon booking (including a deposit that the hotel takes on arrival)
It's in a very good location for Emeishan and Emeishan station. Good options to eat around. Rooms are spacious and clean with good views. Good choice for breakfast and great indoor and outdoor pools.

FranceA beautiful complex, very close to Emei Shan, with very comfortable rooms. The breakfast was very good. Only the fact that this was well-managed and didn’t feel crowded even during the Chinese Spring Festival, which really suggests a top class management. The spa, café and several seats across the facility really lift the place up. The staff were invariably exceptionally polite and efficient, in particular the lady and the spa and a staff called Gina. Compliments!

SingaporeThere are two buildings and we stayed in the one which is far away from the lobby so it take around 5 mins to reach my room which is a bit of hassle.
The resort is close to Emeishan railway station, and it is spacious with its own hot spring both indoor and outdoor. There are both indoor and outdoor playground for kids but no babysitting service. The room is huge and surroundings is quiet and feel relaxed thourought the whole stay. Staff is friendly and helpful as well. Breakfast is nice with many local special dishes.

ChinaThe breakfast is amazing, but the dinner surprisingly isn't, better go outside for food. The pizza we got would have an Italian fume. For the location, if you think it is close to the E'mei park entrance you have to be prepared, it is right next to mount E'mei, but to get into the park, you still have to drive 1 hour.
The Meridien had the best breakfast, lot of choice, both Western and Chinese. The playground for kids was really amazing, my son had a great time. Right next to the hotel there is an amazing food street, local speciality is the duck, give it a try. The rooms were nice and comfy.

Excellent location - a ten-minute walk from the entrance to Emeishan. The room was big and comfortable, with a nice shower and bathtub. The facilities were great - modern gym, indoor and outdoor pools, and green areas to walk around. The buffet breakfast was pretty good.

United KingdomThe concierge was lacking. The bell boy bone idle making us drag our suitcases the 450 steps to our suite. The room wasn't soundproofed and you could hear the shouting from the hot spring water pools 50 meters away. The mini bar was poor as was the coffee machine. The main dining room was more akin to a Butlins holiday camp yet another 60 metres away was a well hidden Chinese restaurant of fine dining quality which we only discover on our 3rd night.
Fabulous room - Discovery Suite with all the comforts you’d expect and generous is size and quality fittings. Toiletries were of a high quality as were the towels and slippers. The fine dine Chinese restaurant which is very subtly hidden from guests. It’s great food served beautifully but certain foods were unavailable as were certain alcoholic drinks which was a shame.
