JapanThe breakfast was the same each morning, and the music in the cafeteria was annoying - on a endless loop. Smoking is allowed near the elevator, which is awful, and the elevator buttons are individual to each elevator.

Location with so many little businesses where you can get authentic food, not the foreigners adjusted food. The shower is absolutely wonderful, felt almost like a spa! Big rooms. Towels are changed daily. Clean. Staff was very willing to help.

CanadaThe mini fridge in the room was not plugged in, and didn’t seem to have an electrical outlet close enough to plug the fridge in. The nearest visible outlet was too high up for the plug. If there was an outlet, accessing it would have required moving furniture.

CanadaThere really wasn’t anything to dislike. There was some construction noise nearby during the day, but there was nothing after sunset.
The room was spacious, tastefully decorated, and as advertised. The bed and seating were comfortable, and the shower was awesome. Even though I forgot to request nonsmoking and the room had an ashtray, there was no odour. The buffet breakfast had a good selection and tasty food. The staff were very helpful. The location was also very good in terms of restaurants, shops, and so forth.

IrelandBreakfast starts at 7am but ends at 9:30am, which is too early. All other hotels we have stayed in, breakfast ends at 10:30am. Room cleaning was okay. Bed sheets were never changed during our entire stay of 8 nights. Cleaning staff were friendly though.

United StatesWifi was pretty slow. Laundry was also in a connected building, getting there was kind of confusing and a little creepy at night but at least they had laundry on site.
Great location, really good breakfast and lots of restaurants nearby. Walking distance to a lot of museums. Room was very large and comfortable and the shower especially was pretty nice. Staff was very nice and helpful, they dont speak a ton of English but their Mandarin is very clear. They also had a cute little robot deliver my takeout to me.

SwedenThe man working in the kitchen was spitting in the sink and on the floor while preparing breakfast. This is a totally unacceptable behavior and very discisring. It no respect at all to the guests. I could not eat my breakfast as I lost my appertite. Several of guests looked at him but he totally ignored us. After traveling 25 days in China I never came across such unprofessionalism. We are all human beings. I totally understand if you are sick or feel bad. But there are two important things here. 1. If you are sick, do not work with food. 2. If you need to spit, at least go to the bathroom and do not do this infront of the guests eating. To put it simple. Behave civilized.
Very good and clean rooms in a perfect location of Nanjing. Reception was so nice and helpful. I can only give them 10 out of 10. One person should not ruin my rate of this great hotel.

Czech RepublicDuring my stay, there was a bit of confusion upon arrival, as there are two identical hotels right next to each other. I initially went to the wrong one and was redirected, but since they’re only a few metres apart, it wasn’t a major issue. It's also worth noting that the gym is located in the first building, so you need to switch buildings to access it. The only real downside for me was the loud noise from the street – even with the window closed, it woke me up every morning.
The hotel is in a great location, just a few metres from a metro station, which made getting around the city very convenient. My room was spacious and the bed extremely comfortable. Breakfast was served from 7 am – that was fine, though I would have appreciated a slightly earlier start. Most of the food options were Chinese-style, but there were also some Western choices available. I would definitely stay here again.

When we arrived at Ruilan Grandyard Hotel, the receptionist said they had upgraded us at no cost to ourselves to their COURTYARD Hotel, a 90 metres away. We are immensely grateful for their generosity and thoughtfulness, since we are 72 & 82 year olds in a mega city, very far from our small home town, Cape Town. There was a busstop opposite the hotel, from where we sometimes commuted. Most sights were within close reach of the hotel, on Subway line 2. Xiamen metro station was a comfortable 15 minute walk away
