How guest reviews work

You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

Verified reviewGood location. Walking distance to metro. Delicious breakfast. Very friendly and helpful staff. No English but they are very patient using translation apps to communicate. Special thanks to the male staff in the reception who helped me list down the metro stations of every tourist places I wanted to visit. Big supermarket, a mall, and plenty of restaurants and street food stalls as you walk from metro to the hotel. Room is spacious and clean. I really enjoyed my 6 nights stay. Overall, great value for my money. I will definitely come back.
Wifi was a slight issue but this was not the hotel's fault. My phone was purchased from my home country and my apps are blocked in China. The staff showed me their wifi is working fast with their local mobile phones so it's not the problem from hotel wifi but from my phone. This was easily solved by using data from my international e-sim which allowed me to use all my apps (except google map of course). Not a big issue for me coz I found a solution.

I dislike the location of the hotel, Besides, The Reception had a very limited space ! We came to the Canton Fair and had cash with us. Of course, I always carried it with me, but I had a second wallet in which I left Thai baht - a small amount of 5,200 baht. The wallet was always in the backpack. As a result, the cleaning lady stole 4,000 Thai baht (about 120 USD) from me, kindly leaving me 1,200. Not a lot of money, but the understanding that someone was rummaging through your things is very unpleasant. I knew the exact amount, because I counted it before leaving it. But I was confident in the safety. Apparently in vain. Unfortunately, I discovered the loss only upon arrival in Thailand, when I reached into my wallet. It's good that she did not steal the laptop and tablet, now I'm afraid to leave such things in the rooms. I learned a good lesson that didn't cost me that much - only 120 bucks. I'm sharing it with you for free. Be vigilant.

Both of them said that they had never seen your cash in the room,Both these two employees are very honest,who have been with the hotel for 10 years,This is the first time in nearly 12 years that the hotel has received a report from a guest that cash or valuables are missing from the roomWe will keep video recordings of the common area corridors during your stay and have called the police.The general manager of the hotel led two other employees back to the room you stayed and observed all the corners under the mattress and so on. Verified reviewThe breakfast was good, different but very nice. The location was good, it was a bit far from the Canton Fair complex but the shuttle was very useful. The hotel had everything I needed and was fit for purpose. The staff were helpful.
