The language barrier can be challenging, as most of the staff don't speak English. Also, there are no halal food options available, which is important for us as Muslims.

Great Stay – Clean, Quiet, and Friendly Staff The hotel was very clean and well-kept, which made for a comfortable stay. The staff were polite and welcoming, especially manager Maria, who was incredibly kind and helpful. The location is peaceful, away from the noise of the city but still close enough to the center to get there easily. Perfect balance of calm surroundings and convenience. Would definitely recommend!

Loud musik in the afternoon at the pool is very very anoying. Nobody needs this loud noise. Could hear the bumbum noise even in the room. Wechat for ordering at the pool does Not work for foreigners. Nobody is comming by to order something. You loose a lot of money this way. Many russians or westerners would order a lot but can not do it. Pool water could be cleaner. Lots of strange things swimming around. Too less pool beds for rush hour AC in breakfast hall not sufficient working. Breakfast is very Chinese oriented. Staff speaks poor englisch

There is not that much to do in the area and you will probably have to book tours to go and explore other parts of town or the island. There are a couple of cheaper seafood restaurants down the road but all of them only open later in the evening, which leaves only the more expensive options in the hotel area itself. As a side note, the tunnel that helps you go under the road from the hotel grounds to the beach is only accessible from the beach coming back in. This means if you if you went for a walk and found yourself back on the hotel's side, you would need to go around the block to the main entrance, OR cross the road at the next available crossing to get back to the beach-side to access the tunnel back to the hotel grounds, as I found out the hard way!

I got upgraded to a sea view room on the ninth floor with a lovely view. The bath is situated to look directly on the balcony (but won't expose you). I also noticed that Maria, the concierge, was extra caring if you are a solo traveler. The spa had great deals with markdowns on great massages. The Balinese massage was super-relaxing and I got a a significant discount, but probably because I also went out of season. The nightly hot-pot and grill had delicious food. Would recommend for a short stay.

Great brteakfast with rich selection of food. Wonderful pools, some even heated, which is important in January..Good gym facilities, evn yoga mat supplied in the room. Two-minute walk to the beach.

The facilities are great, and the room very comfortable and clean. However, the best part of the hotel is its service level, in particular the one directly provided by the hotel manager Maria. Her very high quality service was amazing - the best service level I’ve encountered in similar hotels.

The bed in the master bedroom of our 2 bedroom residence was very comfortable. Way too hard. Most uncomfortable bed I have slept in.

The hotel is not directly on the beach and is accessed using a hotel dedicated underpass to the ocean road. We had to queue for breakfast as the capacity seems somewhat short of demand.

We booked a Grand Ocean View King but were pleasantly surprised to have been upgraded to the much larger Executive Suite Ocean View Room. The guest relations manager introduced herself to us and gave us a chat contact should we wished to ask any questions. The room had all the old school hotel fixtures like retractable hanging line in the shower and drying rack on the balcony which make it great for travellers. The view was very good and we enjoyed use of the pools. We asked reception for recommendations of local restaurants. They didn't seem very knowledgeable but ultimately they recommended the Yiheng Shopping Food Court where we had a great seafood market meal. The hotels has a lot of facilities and activities for kids and a very modern and well appointed gym. The hotel is reasonably close to the airport.

The only thing I didn't like in my entire stay was the towels they provide in the pools. They got stain on it, pretty much all of them got stains. I was told they're stain from coconut, but it just looks gross and not clean.

The outlook of the resort is beautiful, I love the fact that it's full of trees, very big and nicely decorated. The swimming pools are also quite big, really nice and clean, and I love the pool bar. I like the fact that there are pools that are cater for kids or water activities and an upper pool just for swimming (no floaty/ rings etc). The beach is just 5 minutes walk away via an underground tunnel from the resort which is convenient. My room is very clean, spacious and with a beautiful sea view. The beds are really comfortable with nice beddings! The customer service is excellent, I was assigned with a personal assistant who would check on me every day to see if I need anything, big thank you to SARA, she is wonderful. Also, big thank you to KEVIN the staff at the hotel door, he was super kind and helpful. The food there is delicious, my kind of food at least. The breakfast buffet which is included in our package is awesome with great selection. I had a fabulous time, thank you!

Several indoor activity rooms for the kids were closed for renovation. In my opinion, no need to turn on the tv with cartoon in the indoor play room. The kids should play there, not watch tv.

I traveled with my mother and my two kids (3 and 9yo) to Sanya and stayed here for four nights. We really enjoyed our stay. Staff are very friendly. We had a two bedroom apartment, very spacious. The kids enjoyed the kids activities. All staff are very friendly. The beach was very nice, although Sanya Bay isn’t regarded as the most beautiful beach of Sanya, but still, very fine sandy beach.
