Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

ChinaEverything is OK.
I run a little business in Jiangsu Province but I have to come down to Shenzhen every now and then. I always stay at "7 Orange" because the staff is excellent and I get a good, clean room for a reasonable amount of money. Thank you to the staff...

ChinaEverything was fine, I like to keep things positive, it's a nice, clean hotel with good people working there.
So I have stayed at this hotel 3 times now, within a short time - so I definitely think it is a good hotel. Trying not to repeat what I said before, I really liked how easy it was to communicate with this hotel via email. I often sent messages in English and they responded in English. This hotel was a good experience - I don't need anything fancy and they provided everything that I needed. The restroom was clean and spacious, with a "Western" toilet (not a squat toilet - believe me, there are still some hotels that have squat toilets :P). The bed was comfortable. There was room to move around the room and a desk where I could place my laptop and do some work. There were lots of places around the hotel to eat and a subway station within walking distance (Number 5 line). You are also within walking distance of the Shenzhen North high speed train station. So if you want to come into Shenzhen and get into a hotel within a brief period of time, I would highly recommend this place. They have staff at the front desk 24 hours a day and they will really help you if you need help. They also have bottles of water and tea you can buy at standard rates (3 rmb per bottle of water).

ChinaI liked nearly everything. It takes a little bit of a walk to get to the subway, but I didn't care as I took the Didi most of the time.
The hotel has everything you need. A good bed, air conditioning, a TV, a nice shower/restroom with a Western toilet. Good staff, very kind and helpful.

ChinaHonestly, I was so happy with this hotel. Very comfortable, clean room with good A/C. Also a nice TV but I never watched it because I don't understand Chinese. Wifi worked OK as well. The only thing that wasn't "perfect" was the number 5 train line. But I was able to transfer to other lines easily. It is a short walk to the 5 line.
This is an excellent hotel, especially for the affordable price. There is a 24 hour, very kind staff. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. I had a large bed, a nice restroom and the air conditioning worked well. If you are a foreigner in China, and worried about hotel quality, I can tell you not to worry about this place. :) I also had a window in my room for natural light. I was able to clean my clothes for free (that was an extra bonus) by myself - they have machines available. Even though I was a foreigner, they were able to communicate with me well using a translation device. They also have a lot of bottles of water and tea and soda to buy very inexpensively. Everyone was kind to me - even the room cleaners, who work very hard.

China20 minute walk from the train station. I’m American, I haven’t walked for 20 minutes total in my whole life!
Very minimal. Very. I mean disposable shower towels minimal. But if Greentree is all booked up at it’s almost 1:00 in the morning and you need a place to lay your head for the night that feels safe, secure, and relatively clean and on a budget, this is it. 20 minute walk to the train station and only 187 yuan. Yeah I know, 20 minute walk, but you can do it! Maybe it will be a little hard to find for inexperienced China travelers. Just ask the guard out front and he will tell you it’s on the third floor. The Orange Hotel sign is displayed in the ally. This may sound creepy, but trust me this is China, this is how they roll. Bring your own snacks, get a nice sleep in the comfy bed, and continue with your journey.

GhanaOnly the disposal towels. Something I can say was quite good
Unfortunately , after checking out my plans for my next trip was canceled so I had to rebook same hotel for one more night. I upgraded to a bigger room for comfort but the room they gave me wasn't already used by someone so I asked them to clean the room so I can occupy it. That room was already occupied by someone and the person had just checked out. Instead of them changing the bed spread and the used items, no they used the used items upon complaining, they kicked me out

MexicoIt was very hard to find. Nearly impossible. The addresses (especially to a foreigner) make little sense. The online staff was helpfull but not actually in the property themselves. The check-in was very functional however, the staff was a bit cold. Also I my room smelt strongly like it had been smoked in, even though there was clearly a no smoking sign.
