The staff is very helpful and kind. They helped us plan our itenary and book tickets on our behalf. The hotel also offers a free airport pickup by car and shuttle to Zhangjiajie National Park Middle gate. The swimming pool is well maintained and great pleasure to swin after a long day of hiking. From the pool you have direct mountain view, and by taxi it is only 14 minutes to the national park and about 30 minutes to Wulingyuan village.

In case you need to wash and dry clothes, it takes two days at least to dry due to very humid environment (september). Keep in mind when travelling!

Wonderfull accomodation! We totally recommend. Views and pool are really beautiful. Personel is very nice, friendly and helpful. Kitchen there is amazing 😊 Go for it and dont hesitate. Thank you for your hospitality and good care.

My family and I had such an amazing experience at Xman. The location is incredible, right next to the National Forest Park, and the facilities were advanced and very comfortable. Best of all, the staff was so friendly and nice, especially Sophia and Lily, they made our stay very relaxing and fun. They helped us with our itinerary and whatever we needed extremely quickly. Right from airport pickup to accommodating food requests, they helped with all our needs and wants. We came from Dubai and found Xman amazing, I highly recommend it.

Staff was kind and helpful. Then helped us arrange transfer to the middle gate and to the airport. They also gave info regarding the park. Breakfast simple, but nice traditional one.

We booked the room with the jacuzzi in it on the balcony. Since the weather was rainy the jacuzzi could not been used as it is filled with spring water which was considered dirty during the rainy days. Huge disappointment. Would have booked a lot cheaper room if I knew it in advance. It should have been communicated so we can make an informed decision.

Such a beautiful hotel, super modern and clean and the staff are amazing. Easy to get DiDi if you want to go in town and super close to the elevator of avatar mountain !!

Beautiful location especially if you love nature

The view is gorgeous. We got a suite with Mountain view. The Mountain View’s at the common areas and at the road outside the hotel are also fabulous. Breakfast are simple local food but the kitchen also has a menu for lunch and dinner. We ordered simple dishes with rice for dinner and the food was deliciously and skillfully stir-fried.

The hotel staff said they could plan itinerary and help purchase tickets but they could not execute properly as they are not familiar with circumstances at the tourist areas. We suffered very long delays as a result, which defeated the purpose of staying near the National Forest. Housekeeping also needs improvement. Every night we found the room short of something (water, towels, floor mat). However, the staff are very helpful to bring the necessary to our room immediately. Another thing that made us uncomfortable was that a rubbish bin would constantly be placed below dining tables in the restaurant for throwing food and other rubbish. Not sure if it’s the norm there but it is unsightly to have an open rubbish bin constantly under the dining table.

Amazing and friendly staff - assisted on relevant tourism spots in the area (e.g helping book tickets). English friendly. Views in the area speak for themselves.

Nothing to complain.

The staff was helpful with everything. The cook made delicious food! Perfect view over the mountains. The room was very warm and shower had warm water. Even the toilet had a heater!

Due to low season it felt a little dead, we were the only guests. And it was hard for the taxi drivers to find the hotel.

The people there, they are all so friendly and approachable ! The room is big and very comfortable! The surrounding scenery is beautiful! We can walk around the area, 5-10mins walk till the end there is a spot to take nice photos! Along the way will see chics and so on, a feel of village stay! The toilet bowl 😂… my hubby love it… it help on morning business 😂

The light in the toilet is too dark. Ladies may have difficulties when makeup. Along the walk got some buildings constructed halfway, it spoilt the village outlooks!

- nice modern room - beautiful view on the surrounding mountains - we got a free pickup from the railway station - great location, just 10min by car (didi works well) from the national park entrance

- not that many options for breakfast, you proactively have to ask the staff in order to get a coffee or a noodle soup. We just realized that serve noodle soup after some Chinese guests got it.

This hotel is located fairly close to the Zhanjiajie forest park, which is convenient if you want to go to the park early. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful, they kindly picked us up from the airport and then the next day drove us to the park. They also helped to buy the tickets and arranged transportation. The rooms are comfortable with full height glass windows so you can enjoy the views. The pool, in particular, has great views and is a good size.

The owner was exceptionally friendly! The pool is nice, although we couldn’t really use it because of the weather.

The hotel has a perfect location nestled in the National Forest Park. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful - especially Xiaoxiao and her little brother - they helped us navigate common tourist attractions, arranged tickets and provided transport. The pool and scenery is definitely a highlight of this hotel as are the comfortable rooms! Very clean. Would highly recommend!

We arrived in China by train from Hong Kong. We came completely unprepared, without roaming, without Chinese yuan, without a hotel address in Chinese, without a route plan for the park. By some miracle, a local guy brought us from the train station to the hotel using GPS coordinates. At the hotel, we paid for our transfer, were treated to tea, bought tickets to the park, and were given a route plan. The staff didn't speak English, but we understood each other perfectly with the help of a translator. They helped us solve all our problems and plan our days in this area. They always found and brought us to the hotel by car, considering that we didn't have internet. In general, it was delightful! And the hotel itself was very comfortable. The view, cleanliness, style. Everything was superb!

The hotel is excellent. The room was spacious, comfortable and had a great view. The hotel is 10 min drive to the national park and they offered a free lift and collection. We were also offered free collection from the airport. The staff make this hotel super special. Very attentive, incredibly helpful and friendly. A shoutout to all of them but especially Kelly who translated everything for us and helped plan our days. I also loved that every time we left the hotel, the staff came to our taxi to see us off. Couldn’t recommend this hotel enough!
