Our neighbours in the hotel were smoking some nights and mornings and so the smell got into our room through cracks in the windows. The hotel should really enforce the no smoking part. Perhaps seal the windows entirely to prevent guests opening them.

Great location, nice local food around. Clean room and nice breakfast! Friendly staff. We stayed for 5 days and really enjoyed it.

The reception staff (Xiao Zhong) gave me a temporary room to rest when I arrived early before our family room was ready. Breakfast was great with good mix of local and international food! One of the staff prepared a bowl of longevity noodles for my sister as she heard that the next day was her birthday. Location was good, walking distance to AMTR. The hotel also gladly extended our check-out time, and gave us a complimentary local snack during check-out.

It would help if the staff would be able to communicate in English. Also, during the restaurant was very busy during the breakfast, so it was difficult to find a free table.

We continue to stay for another 4 nights. This time assigned to block 5 and the hotel staff helped my family on the same level and non-smoking rooms.Truly appreciate their effort. I especially like to thank Mr Chen (717) for arranging the free breakfast for me although they are not aware of the genie members rewards program. He has gone out of his way to resolve this and enable pleasant. I like to recommend this hotel for their professionalism and great service. Will return again.

The hotel must have been grand during its hey days with good solid furnishings. It’s looking a bit old but for the reasonable price, it was good value.

The staff were very attentive and helpful. They arranged packed breakfast when we had an early train to catch. They also assisted us to navigate the taxi booking system in China and would even help us to contact the driver to inform him of our exact location. The rooms were of a good size and comfortable. Breakfast was a big spread with international and local choices. They had 5 types of tea eggs and also local specialities like satay noodles and peanut soup for foreign guests to try.

One day before check out, floor towels and hand towels were not provided. We are perplexed. Is this the hotel procedure. We did not encountered this the previous 4 nights we stayed. This happened only on the fifth night.

When we went in for breakfast around 9+, most of the food were empty. It seems no staff is making inspection to ensure food is refilled when it is depleted. We requested a refund and walked out of the restaurant.

This hotel is hidden gem. The location is excellent, walking distance to park, food and metro station. It's supper clean. The staff is very friendly. The breakfast has a lot of choices and price is very good. I like very thing about it and will stay there next time .
