That the credit card used to book could not be charged for the stay, I travel for work and my hotel bookings are done using a company credit card, I do not travel with this card and had to use my own credit card to pay for the booking. I also stayed in Suzhou at the Marriot Hotel and they had no problem charging the booking to the credit card used to make the booking. This is also the case in Europe where I also travel to often.

Location is too far from food streets, if you don't have meituan app registered before your stay, it's hard to get supper. Hotel dinners or meals are too expensive.

The hotel runs on central air con, so during this season the weather is cold outside and they have turn the air con to a higher temperature which was what they explained. So my room was rather hot in the middle of the night. I have to call for assistance in the middle of night and they gave me an air cooler the cool down the room.

We were surprised to be offered a room with just a king bed for our family of four. No access to pool without swimming staff. Most staff speak very little English.

However, there was some foul smell in the toilet. And I have booked for 3 adults with breakfast included, but was told by the front desk that their policy is only for 2 adults and hence have to pay and extra for breakfast.

The room was very spacious and beds were comfy too.

I would 100% come back to Wyndham Xiamen - it was an incredible experience. Staff were so lovely and helpful, despite language barriers they went above and beyond to help with whatever. The girl at reception was very attentive and made me feel welcome from the start. Dinner was very good too - and the room very spacious, clean and luxurious. Gym was decent too, and lovely views of the bridge. Area was quiet and felt safe.

Leaving the hotel after just 5 nights!

I found the standard of this hotel exceeded my expectations in many ways. The hotel was exceptionally clean and comfortable and the location was ideal. The views from my room were amazing. There was a beautiful long walk along the beach, just behind the hotel, which I used most days during my 5 night stay there. The gym is well equipped with great sea views. The subway / metro is just a short walk away and it is very cheap and convenient to get anywhere in the island. The most important asset of this hotel by far, is the amazing staff who work there. They, all, really go out of their way to help in anyway they can. One member of staff is particular which would be unfair not to mention is a beautiful young lady Angel. She is incredibly polite, well mannered, patient, professional, impeccably dressed, knowledgeable and most helpful. Any advice or guidance she provided to me, was very useful and accurate. I owe her immense gratitude for making my stay there a memorable one. Thank you all the staff and Angel in particular. Manochehr

The hotel has an amazing location at the sea with a promenade inviting for (not only) morning walks. Several restaurants in the immediate vicinity. The room had a beautiful modern, clean design and was equipped with a comfortable bed. The staff was very friendly and helpful. All in all, it was a pleasant and comfortable stay during my business trip to Xiamen.

It was excellent. Break fast was good, however some more possibilities of halal food would have been excellent. Rest all was good. friendly staff and good service.
