How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

It would be nice if someone speaks English properly. And fast taxi pickup service was needed but not provided as for a foreigner who does not have a lot of experience with Chinese apps to do it himself. Expensive tea options on the terrace.

The location was not very close to MRTs closest was about a 15min walk. Staff had very minimal English was difficult to communicate unless you had the translation app open. The QR code for room service was not working, wifi was weak and shower was not the cleanest but was not terrible.
The room was clean and spacious, could open both our suitcases and had heaps of space still. Toilet was separate to the shower which was ideal. The view was beautiful, close to a large shopping centre about 10mins walk away.

The room was not soundproof. The Breakfast room but very few table and chairs to seat, at the pick time it’s hard to find a table to seat.

the fact that the pol was unavailable for 4.5 days ...because the water was being changed? This in a city where 10 months ago there wasnt a completed road bridge across the Pearl river (5Km long). Absolutely rubbish excuse. very very disappointed. It might have been better if there was a genuine reception person manning the Health/gym area as opposed to a bored personal trainer
IT was potentially great. Very bright open and seemingly friendly. However, the unavailability of the pool was a real downer. All the staff were eager to please but the communication/language aspect, coupled with the inability to access Google, Meta and other online features made some of the discussions take alot longer...getting taxi is not a simple can we get a vehicle to go to..xx.... The reception team were good , allowed us a late check out, no issue. the cleaning staff were wonderful. Aways smiling!

The pool is always busy with children. I tried going early at 6.30am, but it opens at 9am. As it's so busy, I would suggest extending the opening hours. The bar closes at 10pm which is quite early. I wanted to get a drink but they had already closed early, and they were late opening breakfast one day. The windows were never clean which spoiled the views a bit.
The room was huge and had a lovely art carpet. It's great value and the staff were attentive. The location by the river and park is lovely.

The traffic sound during rush hour. Other than that, all's good.
Location is ideal. Not exactly right beside metro stations but generally convenient by cab. The staff were courteous and helpful. Kudos to the young staff on night shift. ( didn't manage to get his name, think youngest lad with specs at the reception). He was a great help assisting with the extension of stay. Would definitely rebook this for my next leisure / work trip. Thank you.

The hotel is very new, modern, in a very good location. Staff is extremley helpful, we are very satisfied. Special thanks to Zhihong Yang and Lu Yiyu at the reception helping us with various issues, made our stay even more smooth.

Someone was smoking in the room, the whole room smelled bad, It was quite late when I came and I decided to not to tell reception, stayed overnight in this room but slept bad because of this cigarette smell and regret that I didn’t ask to give me normal room, but in general staff should control this kind of things. How that even possible that someone smokes in the room? Disgusting.
