Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

PolandFirst of all, this might be more of a general issue in China. Quality levels are very mixed – some elements are truly high-end, while others feel cheap and wear out quickly, even in a luxury hotel. For example, the bed was luxurious, but the lamp above it was made of the cheapest plastic imaginable, and many buttons were already broken. We even had a window that let water in. Another issue was the language barrier. English is a real problem here – staff are very friendly and good at using apps, but if you want to order food by phone, you’re better off walking down to the reception. Also, some of the information in the hotel description is misleading. Room service is not 24/7 – you can only order food until 10 PM. The pool is indoors and pretty cold, both in terms of air and water temperature (I'd guess around 26–27°C). On top of that, there are a lot of strict rules – it felt more like a school swimming pool with supervisors than a relaxing hotel amenity. You are not allowed to swim without a swim cap. I’m completely bald and clean-shaven and explained this, but they insisted: “It’s the procedure.” Whether that’s just this hotel or a general rule in China, I don’t know – but it’s hard to imagine other luxury hotels requiring guests to wear a swim cap. Overall, there’s a slightly formal, rigid vibe between the hotel and the guest that doesn’t quite align with what I expect from a high-end service experience. I'd also like to add that the internet was a major downside – it’s extremely slow, to the point where you can’t really get anything done. You’ll definitely need a local eSIM if you plan to stay connected.
Location is superb – the hotel is right next to a massive shopping mall, there’s a convenience store nearby, and tons of restaurants in the area. The rooms are huge and very comfortable. Beds are an absolute dream, and the soundproofing is excellent – you really get a restful night’s sleep here.

NetherlandsThe staff, although very friendly and helpful, spoke very little to no English so without a Chinese friend of a translate app it can be a bit difficult to ask for things.
We had a spacious room with excellent beds and a great bathroom. Soft towels, good amenities, the room had everything. There was a big typhoon that day so we stayed inside a lot, this hotel is the place to do so. The facilities within the hotel (we used the pool and restaurant) were good. Can definitely recommend, even if it might be a bit pricier that most hotels.

IsraelThe hotel location on MAPS.ME and on google maps is not correct and it confused us (walking by foot from the metro exit with our lauguge). On MAPS.ME there are 2 hotels marked, one at the correct location and one on street address 3008 (instead 2009) and with Futian in its name (looks as the relevant one). On google the location is on the street junction. The hotel should request to correct this. On Chinese apps the location is correct.
Very goog location near the city center and by a metro exit (exit E of Gangxia station). Very good breakfast. High class hotel. Loved the Robots for the room service delivery.

SloveniaWe got 2 executive rooms (3306, 3318). The first one had amazing views. The second room was absolutely gorgeous too but the views are blocked by the giant hotel that is being built nearby. Also, occasionally we could smell cigarettes, but with some AC, this went away fast. This is the only reason for giving it 9, otherwise it's pure 10.
This was our best hotel during our 6-day trip. Classy, modern, with robots delivering meals. Staff were professional and kind; communication was smooth; and English was not a problem at all. Rooms are really big, beds are huge and comfy, and if you are lucky, you will have amazing night views of the city. It's cca 300m from the metro; restaurants are within walking distance. I recommend this hotel a lot; it felt we got value for the money we paid.

I recently stayed at the Wyndham Shenzhen Futian and was genuinely impressed by both the quality of the hotel and the exceptional service provided. The rooms were immaculate, comfortable, and had all the amenities needed for a productive and relaxing stay. The location is also excellent, with easy access to local attractions and transport. I especially want to highlight the outstanding assistance I received from two front desk staff members, Amy and Jossce. During my stay, I accidentally left my laptop at the train station, and they went above and beyond to help me retrieve it. Not only did they not ignore my problem, but they immediately took action, calling the station on my behalf and coordinating everything to ensure I got my laptop back. Their professionalism, kindness, and willingness to assist in a stressful situation made a huge difference. Thank you, Amy and Jossce, and the whole team at Wyndham Shenzhen Futian, for making my stay unforgettable. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a place with great facilities and an exceptional level of service.
