Our stay in the Legendally hotel was magnificent. The hotel building is a beauty, inside and out. It’s giving Titanic grandeur. Additionally everything was well maintained, and very clean. All the staff were super friendly. What we liked most was the concierges: they spoke very well English and helped us immensely during our stay. Unfortunately, due to the weather, a lot of tourist attractions were closed, but they gave us updates around the clock and helped us in finding alternatives. We really appreciated that! The breakfast buffet was very diverse with western and Chinese options, as well as freshly baked eggs. Last but not least, we also enjoyed the happy hour between 7 and 9pm every day. If you're anywhere in Yunnan, drop by this hotel and stay with them. Find Mr. He to plan over a tea or beer session if you like.  He is awesomely terrific with his recommendations, tips from being scammed, your tours or even trip planning according to your budget and even last minute ticket grabbing especially for Jade Dragon Snow Mountain (you're supposed to book this ticket a week in advance before your desired visiting date - the earlier you book the cheaper it is!) Because of his awesome last minute planning of just two days, I met with my first snow. It's not too far from the inconvenient old city of lijiang which means your Didi can drop you with your luggage at the front door. Visit the whole seller at the end of the street, you can shop a variety of Pu Er Tea(local speciality) and a variety of mushrooms and rose petals cookies at very very good deal price! 25 yuan for 10pcs of rose petals cookies is a steal! Honestly it's a small town so keep your expectations low and make do with the flaws cause that's how a small town vibe is supposed to be.

Some parts of our bathroom looked a bit dated and like they were in need of a touchup, but the facilities worked fine. The courtyard on the first and second floor could also use a cleaning.

Owner was exceptionally helpful and friendly. Despite the language barrier and difficulties in purchasing tickets to Yulong Snow Mountain due to us not having a local number for WeChat transfer, he offered to purchase the tickets for us as well as settled transportation, warm clothing and insurance at a much lower price than what can be found online. The location was also excellent, outside the Old Town so we did not have to carry our luggage to reach the hotel yet near enough that walking was no problem at all.

The rooms are a bit out-dated and not very clean. The shower cabinet has a small leakage into the bathroom floor.

Owner was very enthusiastic and helpful person. He has very good intentions, however not everything that was arranged turned out well. Our trip to Blue Moon Valley was very uncomfortable that caused motion sickness and eventually altitude sickness. The arranged driver was a bad driver who didn’t show any consideration that I was vomiting, she just wanted to rush us through the trip and head back. Other short distance recommendations by the owner was better, especially restaurants and shows in the city. He was very accommodating and welcoming.

A spacious duplex suite for 4 people with 2 bathrooms and large sitting place. It is just 2 minutes walk to the historic old town. Breakfast is served by a neighbouring restaurant, although the choice is limited. The receptionist Jason helped us tremendously especially in arranging itineraries in and around Lijiang. Communication with him as common in China must be through Google Translator, WeChat or similar. We felt welcome and comfortable and surely recommend the place.

The hotel operator went over and above at this hotel. He helped us with taxis, bookings and gave great advice for the area. I can not recommend this place enough. The location is perfect, next to the Old Town where you can wander around for hours.

This little boutique hotel has captured our hearts! Facilities are complete and simple, but the hospitality and friendship of Mr. He has totally changed my perception of China! Friendly, helpful and trustworthy, he helped us navigate Old Town and even booked us tours with great prices (don't book externally through random drivers and tour operators!) The hotel is an easy walk to Lijiang Old Town (literally 3 minutes) and there are many restaurants next door with amazing local food. It's right next door to a mini mart as well! Rooms were cleaned every day and I love the spaciousness of this place at such great value. Towels are changed every day and bed is made.
