How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Dear guest: We are very honored for your recognition of us. Thank you for coming. Our hotel was transformed from the former Guangzhou Textile Machinery Factory, featuring red brick walls and many textile machines from the 1960s. Sixty percent of our rooms were newly renovated in September 2022, while the rest of the villa areas are buildings of Lingnan culture from the 1960s. If you prefer a light and bright style, it is recommended that you choose a garden king bed or a twin bed. It has no sense of The Times and is designed in the latest way. The hotel is close to the Convention and Exhibition Center, Canton Tower, Haixin Bridge, Guangzhou Art Museum, Night Cruise on the Pearl River, Zhujiang Star Light City, Sun Yat-sen University, Haizhu Lake and the Zoo. It is a great place for your summer vacation in Guangzhou. The hotel environment is elegant and the transportation is convenient. Verified reviewThe location is quiet, green and really cool (in a converted textile factory campus), 5 minutes from metro, a huge shopping mall and a ton of restaurants. The bed is comfortable, the shower works well, the breakfast is diverse and served in an interesting space. The AC works really well, which was really important in the humid heat of mid May 2025. A great hotel overall for a really good price!

Our hotel was transformed from a former textile machinery factory. Each room has Windows for fresh air, independent air conditioning, independent WIFI, 24-hour service, etc. Our breakfast is constantly updated and adjusted every day. To ensure that our guests have a unique experience, we provide daily breakfast with yogurt, coffee, milk, cereal, fruits, toasted toast, Western pastries, fried noodles or vermicelli, eggs, and snacks. The hotel is surrounded by big trees and negative ions. It is about 500 meters away from the subway station and about 300 meters away from the Guangzhou Art Museum, which can be reached on foot. The hotel is adjacent to Canton Tower, Haizhu Lake, Sun Yat-sen University, Guangzhou Art Museum (200 meters away), Pearl River Night Cruise (Fortune Wharf of Canton Tower), and Liying Square Food Street (surrounded by Taotaoju, Haidilao, Zhuying Star City, Uniqlo, Banni Road, Xiaomi, and McDonald's). Each room is equipped with independent Wifi, each room has a window, an independent shower room, an independent air conditioner (for fresher air), disposable toothbrushes, coffee, milk tea bags, free mineral water, hair dryers, towels, etc. Every detail demonstrates our warm and attentive service. Breakfast also provides a service of frying eggs and green vegetables at any time. We are always committed to serving every guest well. Verified reviewThis hotel is a redeveloped textile factory, and is unique as a the whole factory was converted to a hotel and public facilities such a studios for art, public gathering and similar. It is all inside a gated comunity and is beautifuly designed, full of plants and very quiet to stay, even thou it is in center of town. It offers beautifull and unique experience not found anywhere else in Guangzhou, and Timmy is a good host 👍
The hotel itself is getting a bit old so maybe a light remodel is in order.

Verified reviewI had a great stay! The staff was incredibly helpful and went out of their way to assist with anything I needed. The room was clean and well-maintained, and the location was very convenient. It’s within walking distance of the subway station, and you can get a direct train from the airport, making arrival and departure super easy. Highly recommended!

The facilities were really poor. The staff tries to compensate with friendliness, but unfortunately misses the mark. It seems they are aware themselves that the quality of the hotel does not match the high price. Breakfast was very bad; during the Canton Fair they triple or even quadruple the prices, but don’t offer anything extra in return, not even something simple like more fruit or a better selection.

If our service attitude has caused you any misunderstanding, we are very sorry. Our breakfast offers coffee, milk tea, Chinese pastries, fried rice, fried noodles, dumplings, pasta, potatoes, chicken cutlets, salad, bacon, sausages, corn, sweet potatoes, eggs, Western pastries, toasted bread, yogurt, milk, cereal, jam, butter, cheese, peanut butter, etc. Meanwhile, on your first day of stay, for breakfast, we had imported red grapes, tomatoes, watermelons, oranges and Hami melons. You were very unhappy and said there wasn't even a single banana. So we immediately prepared bananas for you and sent them to you. You also said that our room rate was more expensive than that of the nearby Knight Hotel and were very dissatisfied. In fact, it was 57 US dollars cheaper per night than that hotel. We have carefully prepared a free welcome party to welcome all guests and invite you. If you don't want to attend, it's your freedom. We have specially arranged a free shuttle bus for the Canton Fair every day. If you don't use it, you need to take a taxi with two other friends. Special thanks to Timmy, the hotel manager, who was extremely kind, always attentive to our needs and beyond, proactive, and incredibly quick to respond to any request. If I had to rate him, it would be 100/10. The food was varied and delicious, offering noodles, rice, eggs, dumplings, American breakfast, and more, all served according to the established schedule. The room was very spacious, impeccably clean, and had everything we needed. We always had fresh water and fruit available, which was a very thoughtful touch. Additionally, the location was perfect, with a shopping mall and a metro station just a short walk away. We visited during the Canton Fair, and the hotel’s shuttle bus service was excellent, taking us to the fair and picking us up afterward without any issues.

Their breakfast lacked vegetarian/halal options. They need better coffee. But they were very generous overall so it’s minor IMO.
