I would highly recommend, we stayed for a week in the 2 bedroom suite and had a fabulous time., the location is very peaceful and the swimming pool is great. The staff were so kind and caring, especially as my daughter was unwell, and they went to great lengths to assist and make our stay very special. Jenny and Lin in particular (as well as the other lady on reception, I'm so sorry I can't remember your name!) planned many activities for us. We booked all our transport and activities through them (ATV, canyoneering, dumpling making, calligraphy, bamboo rafting, traditional chinese fan painting, cormorant fishing, trip to PingAn - we did it all). Highly recommend!

The location of the lodge is alongside the river and has a classic traditional design. Nice and quiet location but not too far from West street by scooter or DiDi. The staff are very friendly and helpful, especially Lin, who went out of her way to provide advice.

Not much to be honest.

Nice small hotel in beautiful location and within a 10 minute drive of Yangshuo centre. Beds were extremely comfortable and all appliances worked well. We had a room facing the river and the views were wonderful. But what really stands out with this hotel was the customer service at the main reception, Jenny and Lin, they are a total credit to this hotel. Always there to help you plan daily excursions, arrange taxis or just making sure that the finest details of your holiday were met. They even arranged for an afternoon fishing trip for us on the river with a friend of theirs who lent us fishing rods and equipment, and at no charge. Truly outstanding service.

Nothing! We loved everything — and everyone there, especially the super-helpful and adorable Jenny!

Its location away from the hustle and bustle of the town (and the many tour buses) was great for my sister and I, whom prefer rustic village environment. We enjoyed hearing the birds, cicadas, and chickens throughout the day from our balcony, and relished the utter peace and quiet during the night. But the best part was the hospitality and friendliness of the staff at this lodge, and before I forgot, the delicious food offered by their chefs, especially the famed beer fish (which we had twice during our stay!)

I love the quiet and that it was set very near the river and I could view the Liu sanjie performance in the night from near the hotel. The staff were super helpful, warm and genuine. Food was good too. We had lunch and dinner occasionally particularly love the fish. I think that was our best meal for that trip to Guilin and Yangshuo

A great spot withe the view of the River Li and the sunset behind the mountains. Family-run hotel with bamboo-style rooms; really confortable beds (high quality matress and pillows). All the activities they proposed was amasing (bamboo rafting, tai chi, scooter tour, cooking class and show)!

Is the second time we stay at this hotel. It is a bit far from the center but it makes the stay really calm and relaxing. They have a nice swimming pool and the staff is very helpful. They offer western breakfast which is included in the price.

There's no lift, only stairs. Our room was on the 4th floor but it wasn't a problem for us as our luggage was light, but worth noting if you have accessibility issues/heavy bags.

Gorgeous views of the mountains and Li River from the balcony. Room was spacious and comfortable with a tucked away wood cabin vibe. Staff were friendly, spoke English and helped us book a driver to take us around scenic spots. Location is a 10 min drive away from town centre so there aren't many food options within walking distance. Thankfully the hotel's restaurant serves up some delicious local delicacies. Highly recommend this hotel if you like a quiet getaway with beautiful nature views.

The staf was.great and very helpfull. The food was amazing.. the accomodatiion is 15 min with electric scooter out.of the town. You can rent it from the river lodge. The room looked out over de pool and river and was very comfortable. We had a great time. Explore the enviroment with the scooter. It is safe and fun. We did it for 3 days.

Beautiful property located just a 10 minute drive from West Street. Nice pool and area to chill. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Each room has a spacious balcony. Rooms are equipped with toiletries, hairdryer and a kettle. Tue breakfast is nice. There is scooter rental and free bicycles. Tue staff have good English and are very helpful, always checking to see if we need anything.

The heater makes quite a lot of noise.

The staff spoke perfect English and was very helpful in arranging our tours for our three days stay. The room was comfortable. The scenic view and general atmosphere of the hotel was very charming.

Everything was good

We were very happy with our choice. The hotel is wonderfully located on the hilltop with a stunning view on the river and the neighbouring mountains. The rooms are well equipped and prettily designed. Especially the staff is very nice, speaks good English and was not only able to recommend all the major activities but also organise for us to easily take part in them. Additionally the chef cooks delicious food: both western and chinese. We can highly recommend this hotel. A great PLUS is people working in the hotel that has been always helpful and accommodating.

Quiet neighbourhood. Helpful staff. Nice breakfast. Near Li River, glad to witness local women washing clothes at the river. Nice Hilltop Cafe nearby, the mountains & river view is probably the best in Yang Shuo.

Would have been nice to have had a selection of tea and coffee in the room. The room had a kettle and cups. Just no coffee or tea.

The location and the hotel was stunning. The design of the hotel rooms and furniture were very traditional. The room was very clean and comfortable with an amazing view of the river. Even though it was too cold to use the pool, they would still go out every morning to clean up the leaves. That's how clean they kept the hotel. The staff were very welcoming and very helpful with good English.

Beautiful rooms with a wonderful peaceful view. Staff was really friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great and so was food when I ordered in the evenings. I could borrow a bike and cycle around and it was easy to book a car for a day to take me to different destinations
