Location on the river, the little balcony is super nice. Lady at the reception speaks English and is super helpful in booking everything. The room is also confortable for this price

We loved the warm and friendly welcome – the staff provided excellent tips about the area and helped us arrange an unforgettable tour. The dinner at the hotel was absolutely wonderful, both in flavor and atmosphere. Their hospitality truly made the stay special.

The room, although comfortable, felt a bit dated and the air conditioning could work more efficiently.

The reception staff were outstanding. They arranged a cooking class and a martial arts class for us as well as booking transport when needed. The rooms were large and clean with reliable A/C and good showers. The beds are a little on the hard side but the rooms were great and had a little area for making tea, which was a lovely touch. We would definitely stay here again.

Super location next to the river but out of the circus that is Yangshuo centre which is a few minutes walk away. You can walk here in 10-15 mins from the boat. Very friendly and homely feel, traditional build with it's own (very popular) restaurant. Staff very switched on and went out of their way to make sure I had a good stay. Large room and loved the balcony and would recommend the calligraphy class and Liu Sanjie.

The smell from the kitchen/restaurant permeates the public areas and is somewhere between dishwater and cabbage (though the room was fine with the doors shut). You can hear the restaurant calling out diners numbers in an automated voice all through dinner rime. Doesn't go on late but is intrusive when you want to relax in the room.

The staff were incredibly helpful. They spoke great English which allowed us to book tours with ease. The room was very spacious and has everything we needed. The location was perfect along the river and very close to West Street with lots of food and shops.

The property was as close to perfect as it gets. The only thing we didn’t love was having to walk through the restaurant to get to our room.

The hotel is an easy walk from the ferry terminal for cruise boats from Guling. Like many hotels in China, the hotel reception is virtually surrounded by restaurants. In this case a restaurant in high demand. Apart from this, the hotel has character and well looked after. After booking in, we noticed there were no lifts, we are both elderly and didn't mind the struggle upstairs We never had to worry, the staff carried our cases. The room was adequate with a small balcony overlooking the tree lined river and later found the main tourist area was just around the corner. This also proved a extra point to hire a electric bike and explore all attractions.

First the number of stairs but this was good exercise, secondly the bidet wasn't working except for the automatic flush and when you concentration was over, the back of your head was resting on the toilet paper. Trust me not an easy task to tear a sheet off.

Staff speak good English, very helpful and accommodating. Moley and Siau Yang were very helpful and nice. Sound proofing rooms were good. We booked 3 rooms. The restaurant below serves very yummy food.

The hotel staff all can speak English and are very helpful and friendly. Moley & Siau Yang gave great advice: where to visit and what is unique for our enjoyment. They helped us book tickets for the amazing light show, bamboo rafting, cormorant fishing show and minivan to transport the 6 of us. The restaurant beneath the hotel serves very good food, our rooms were well sound proofed and smell-proof despite being above a busy restaurant. Have good view of the river from our balcony. Places to eat and shops are all very nearby with lively atmosphere. Walking distance from the pier after our river cruise from Guilin. Their staff were very accommodating as my husband had heart health issues (gave us 2 extra pillows for his comfort) and when he got a cold during our stay there, they got the restaurant to cook him a bowl of yummy rice mince pork & vegetable porridge plus sent it to him in the room.

Great location and helpful staff

Location and building are amazing. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They told us the hotel has been built inside a very ancient house, which is why it doesn't have a lift. Keep this in mind if you travel heavy. The interior design was lovely, especially the tea table by the window. It's also walk distance from the pier if u took the cruise from Guilin. And very near the town center. So super convenient location.

Nice staff and services. The restaurant downstairs is very convenience. The foods were delicious just a little spice for us. The room size is good and the beds comfortable. Satisfy of clearness.
