Plenty food

The room description is TOTALLY WRONG. Photograph and actual is 100% different. It was a photoshopped photo. Unit is old, dusty, musty, full of stains, lobby hidden behind, room noisy 24 hours with construction happening.

THIS PROPERTY IS TERRIBLE. THE PHOTOS ARE MISLEADING AND I WOULD GO AS FAR TO SAY THAT THEY ARE COMMITTING FRAUD.

THE ROOM WAS NOTHING LIKE THE IMAGES AND VERY DIRTY.

Close to the Canton Exhibition fair complex, the hotel includes free transfer. The staff is helpful. Room is clean and equiped with kitchen and washing machine

DO NOT BE FOOLED BY THE NAME, this is not Raffles 来福士 (Lai fu shi) The hotel in a clever move called the hotel 来福仕 (Lai fu shi) similar pingyin pronunciation but not the same as the international hotel chain. It's hard to find the hotel.

Problems to pay with credit card

It was just a very "average" apartment, with inconsistent hot-water flow during baths, a toilet seat that doesn't fit well to the toilet, and a kitchen with kitchenette but without any supply of pots and pans and utensils!

The construction next door was just non-stop, through the weekends and throughout the night. Yes, it was noisy even on weekends and in the middle of the night! I fail to understand now this significant problem was not mentioned in any reviews? From the looks of things the construction will take months if not years to complete, so buyers beware!

Clean, near to keylun metro

The apartment itself is very nice. The bed is comfortable and there are several areas with seating so we would get ready in one area and hang out in another. We loved the projector and used it almost every night. The shower was nice and the heat was perfect. The surrounding area had the best places to eat, drink coffee, grab snacks. We had amazing food every time we went out in the downstairs mall. Overall a good deal

The room could be cleaned better. We had to wipe off a lot of dust that had settled around the projector and cabinets. The staff which check you in and help you are not very enthusiastic which makes the process more difficult. The location is not in the central area of Guangzhou so expect to take the train everywhere, good news is it's right by the station.

There were no instructions how to find this place. The name "Raffles Executive Apartments" is not displayed anywhere. The very receptionist of the building had no clue what we were looking for and the guys at the "office" don't speak a word in English. Also, black mold is not a very attractive thing. Trying to hide it by scratching it off and painting it with a single layer solves basically nothing. There was a kitchenette but there was literally nothing to use it with. Not a spoon, not a plate, nothing.

The whole payment thing was very confusing. I had paid through booking.com but when i checked-in they asked for payment again for the 2nd day saying that the first payment will be returned. I paid it. Then at check-out they asked for full payment again saying that booking.com will return the other day’s payment as well. I wasted alot of our time figuring out what was going on. Why would booking.com take the payment in the first place if they have to return it later? It was all so confusing and took alot of time to figure out.
