This place is so wonderful! The staff, the location, the room...it is amazing! Even the guests were so friendly and nice. We met people of all ages here. Our room was very spacious and comfortable. We were busy hiking everyday and it was so nice to come back to a cozy place at the end of the day. After hours and hours of hiking each day, the best part was we didn't have to walk far to go to dinner...practically just outside the hotel on the main street is the night market with tons of food stands of delicious food. A huge variety and wonderful! We loved our routine every night of coming home and going to dinner right outside of the hotel. The staff here is exceptionally wonderful. Ralph is such a great, fun, kind, friendly guy. Our 7 year old daughter liked making friends with him. The perfect staff team is complete with (Nia- not sure how to spell her name) who is practically your personal travel planner. Out of our entire trip, there was no other hotel who did so much for their guests than this one! Ralph and Nia organized everything for us! She sat down for so long and worked out every single detail of our daily schedule in the parks, bought the tickets, gave us maps, told us where to go, everything! I am amazed that they do this for every single one of their guests! Wow! That takes a lot of patience and a lot of time! You all do it wonderfully! We loved the decorations in this hotel. The wood made us feel like we were in a mountain retreat somewhere. It was all perfect. Thank you so much for everything! When we come back to Zhangjiajie one day, we will definitely stay at this place. It was one of the highlights of our trip! With love from Christian, Lisa and Haven

Really enjoyed my stay and it exceeded my expectations. I came without a strict plan, but Ralph helped me plan my journey in Zhangjiajie park. Before my arrival I was a bit worried with how I'm going to get there from a train station. Staff was very proactive and helped me book a taxi even before my arrival. I can recommend this place to anyone especially international travelers.

Adjusting the air conditioning during the night is complicated

Very warm welcome with valuable advice for visits. The possibility of having your laundry washed. The service offer allows the purchase of tickets in advance. The proximity to the entrance of Zhangjiajie National Park. The hotel is located on a quiet street. We saw a monkey from the room window

Very good hotel - nice, clean, ideally located not so far from east gate of the National Park. Very nice and helpful staff that provide a lot of useful information of the places and the latest situation (in my case due to the rains some parts of the national park was closed, so the info was very useful to change my plans)

We had a lovely stay at this hostel, the owners were super helpful, very mindful and spoke perfect english. The entrance of the Park is a 5 minutes walk which was very handy. I highly recommand this place !

Totally fantastic! The rooms were clean and comfortable and the location is one street back from the centre of town where you can find places to eat. Still nice and quiet. The best part was the friendly staff who speak great English and helped me to plan my two days in the park. They helped to buy tickets and figure out any transport needs as well. Would highly recommend staying here.

There was a small patch of mold in the corner of the bathroom floor. It wasn't a major issue, but could be improved with more regular deep cleaning.

– The staff were extremely helpful and professional. Ralph and Lia both spoke fluent English and provided detailed, useful information to help us reach our sightseeing destinations in the most cost-efficient way. – The room was clean, with a warm and authentic wooden traditional design that added to the local charm. – Although the hotel does not have an elevator, the staff kindly helped us carry our luggage up and down — thank you so much! – The location was excellent, just a short walking distance to the entrance of Zhangjiajie National Park (Wulingyuan Gate). – The hotel provides a shuttle pick-up and drop-off service to/from the airport or train station, which made our arrival and departure very convenient. – There are many restaurants, food stalls, and a night market within easy walking distance from the hotel.

Fantastic location near the East Gate entrance to Zhangjiajie, with spacious, clean rooms. Most importantly, the staff is incredibly friendly and always ready to help you plan your days in the park. A great choice all around!

Everything was perfect!

Perfect location, ridiculously close to the Zhiangjiaje park entrance. Pharmacies and food stalls very near. Ralph was super helpful and explained everything in detail, from how to get to Tianmen mountain, to arranging transportation. The room was big, with everything you may need: comfy beds, electric kettle and complementary bottles of water. A BIG PLUS for me: the noise cancelling windows. The bathroom was spotless and toiletries were provided. Keep in mind it is common for showers here not to have curtains or separate spaces. Water pressure and temperature was perfect - excellent after a 12-hour-walking day. I would absolutely come back to this hotel. Amazing.

Absolutely loved our stay. Was in a very convenient location - 5 min walk from the West Gate and just a min walk to the daily evening street food market. Ralph and his family were terrific. Gave great tips on where to go and routes to take.
