It’s a simple place in a perfect location, just on a main beach pedestrian street. So friendly and helpful people. Clean. Coffee in the morning.

    Great Value

When we arrived, nobody was at the reception, and it would not have been easy to call the hotel without a mobile phone plan.

Great location right on the Malecon. The shower has hot water, the room has air conditioning, and they provide free coffee in the morning. It takes about 15 minutes to walk to the hotel from the airport, and it's better than taking a taxi since a taxi can't bring you right in front of the hotel because there is no road and only the Malecon.

I wouldn't say, I didn't like anything!! Tv could use an Upgrade to a smart tv, therefore I wouldn't forget to bring an HDMI cord as I used to to plug my computer to the tv!!! Also a microwave would be a plus, popcorn and heating up restaurant leftovers!!!

Daniela is a fantastic host, prompt, we always got immediate response when we contacted her!!! The location is perfecto, especially for my girlfriend and I as we came here to kite!!! We walked to the first kitesurfing school a few minutes walk finding an amazing group of guys!!! We did a downwinder that was breathtaking, blue as blue can be in different shades along with turquoise, sailing with turtles, through some mangroves, shipwrecks and more!!! We rented a buggy for 3 days and drove around the island once, regretting wasting our money as we have every thing we need steps away!!! To those with back issues like myself that can't walk the next day if a bed is to soft or crap!!!! Bed was a firm 10 out of 10 and even though my girlfriend likes soft beds she enjoyed her sleep!!! Air conditioning gets another 10 and was grateful for the coffee every morning super early!!!

Very good location and friendly staff! Just need a bit of work on the reception.

There was a reception, but no one was present most of the time. You had to lock the front door yourself after leaving, and it had a lock on the inside too, so with one set of keys, if one person leaves, the other is stuck in the hotel and can't get out. Also, when no one is present, there's no one to ask for whatever may come up, e.g. directions, towels etc.

The location is near perfect! Right on the beach, close to all restaurants, supermarkets, souvenir shops and everything you can imagine. The staff is very friendly and helpful and also helped us find a taxi to the airport. There's no food options, but everything is close. Aircon works perfect, the shower is big, has hot water. Everything was as expected.

stunning views in the heart of the action
    • Leisure trip
    • Group
    • Quadruple Room with Sea View
    • Stayed 2 nights

Being in the heart of the action also means there is a lot of street noise with people shouting and listening to music until 4:30 in the morning. There was also a bright street light shining into the room. A sleep mask and earplugs are essential for a stay here. Luckily, i had them with me. The staff wasn't always on the premises. AT check-out I had to slide the key under the locked entry door. It would be nice if there was some kind of drop box.

Our sea-facing room had stunning view of Johnny Cay and the waterfront boardwalk. We felt like we were in the heart of all the action.
