Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

Bonaire St. Eustatius and SabaThe breakfast was very basic. Good taste but sometimes they would run out of certain ingredients. The fact that la casona is managed by the infinity hotel acros the street. This meant that everytime you needed to go inside the building at la casona the bellboy needed to come over and open the door.( more for safety reasons) In the beginning it felt a bit weird but one get used to it and the bellboys after a day or two. The bathroom would tend to run over. If shouwerd to lonv. The dreinage dont drain fast enough.
The location is closeby la 70. But stil 2 blocks away which also offera a sense of calmness. Juliette the receltionist was great and understanding very helpfull. The room with private jacuzzy in the room and a balcony street view is the best.

CanadaAt night you can hear all the noises from the street. You need to wait for one of the staff to open the main door to go to the bedrooms. The bedrooms don't have closets, drawers or any furniture to put the clothes and the space is very minimum.
The location and the staff was really good

United KingdomThe hotel is managed by the hotel in front. So, in order to gain access, someone from that hotel crosses the road to let us in every time. He was very professional and polite. It was just slightly inconvenient. In the room, unfortunately our air con machine made such a racquet from about 2am. My partner had to put earplugs in to sleep. It sounded like a door buzzer going off every few minutes. We informed the reception staff, and they said they'd try to fix it.
The location is great. Very close to the thriving "la setenta" lots of bars and restaurants. The room itself is very spacious, with a small kitchenette and also with a lovely balcony. The room is finished to a high standard. Breakfast was nice, not a buffet, but you were offered a choice of eggs, juice, tea, and coffee with arepa and a slice of cheese.

United StatesThere was no place to relax in a chair in the apartment. I brought the patio chair in but it wasn’t very comfortable
Friendly attentive staff 24 hours a day. I liked the hammock chair and private patio. The bed was very firm. It was a safe neighborhood with lots of restaurants shops and markets in a short walk.

ColombiaIt was good, but the room with kitchenette doesn't have a window, I didn't like an opening above the door that was exposed. One of the ladies on the front door was very adamant and sour to answer for a request. But the other ones were adorable, unfortunately I don't remember the name of the one who is kind of rude. Every time that I needed to go in after outings, they needed to open the door for me, it was so unconventional yet unpractical and annoying to ask at the front desk for someone to open the main door on the other side of the hotel.
Overall good.

United StatesToo noisy. It was a relatively quiet neighborhood but you could hear every car going by as if you were outside. The bed was also really uncomfortable. Also didn't like the we had to ask staff to unlock the door and let us in our building every time we went back to the room.
Our room was spacious and had a small kitchen. Nice patio for lounging. Good location.

GermanyThe stuff destroyed 3 pieces of my laundry I gave to them. They asked me if everything could go in the dryer, I said yes besides a few pieces. The rest had been in the dryer several times without any issue. When I got it back there where brownish stains all over 3 white shirts/tops. I showed it to them and they washed it again but the stains still weren’t gone. So the woman at the reception told me it‘s basically my fold, because I told them they could put it into the dryer and there won’t be any refund. We are talking about basic tops and shirts, nothing delicate, one of them 100% cotton. I told them, that there have never been issues and that there must be some problem with their dryer. Then she wanted to explain me, that the dryers in Colombia are different than in my home country. When I told her, that I was living in Colombia for over a year and have been using dryers all the time all over the country she told me again it was my fault because I told them the stuff cut go into the dryer. So my laundry is destroyed, I still paid 70.000 COP which is an outrageous price and didn’t even get this money back. I even had to pay the stupidity 4000 COP for a water I drank. Worst service ever, the way this woman tried to make up stories was really out of this world and left me really speechless. Apart from that the sheets on my bed had several holes and stains and you can hear really everything in the room, even the snoring of other guests. The breakfast is in a dark corner next to the parking lot of the hotel and isn’t really inviting. Quality and taste of the breakfast was also below average. Definitely wouldn’t recommend.

ColombiaI would fire the woman in reception. 3 strikes immediately. I was not allowed to pay with credit card nor bank transfer, cash only. No receipt. Constantly interrupting me as I inquired as to why. Not because peak time or busy. Just extremely rude. No real reasoning given. I(we) asked about upgrading our room and paying the difference. She turned it into a fight. I tried to explain that they would make more, we would pay more, etc. and everyone is happy but she wanted more than the difference and tried to make me feel guilty for using booking.com. Suggested I walk to a cash machine even though i reserved w my cc and had plenty of cash. I usually don’t leave reviews, especially ones that aren’t nice, because I too own and operate a Colombian hotel of about the same size. However, I did nothing to deserve the treatment I received(I try to be one of the good guests) and she was a customer service disaster. Almost like she enjoyed it. Weird. Unsettling. And I’ve lived here for more than 10 years so it wasn’t just a “es Colombia” either. It was a great little room in a great location. The housekeepr was super nice. The lady at the desk should not be the face of a hospitality business. She made things uncomfortable and awkward for our stay and does not have the best interests of the hotel nor its guests in mind.
The room, location, facilities were fine. Cozy room with a little balcony and it has a big tub.

CyprusThe place is not really well accommodated to be a hotel. The rooms are not at all soundproof so you can really heard everything from the other people, we got the rooms on the ground floor and the people were extremely noisy and the main door was every time slammed at late night.
Breakfast was ok, the staff are nice and helpful, location is good too.
