No A/C and the bedsheets were a little dirty (mostly stains). During the day, there were some construction workers drilling so taking a nap was not an option.

The staff is great and the room very clean. The view is amazing (no need to have a room with a view on the top floors). At night it is really quiet and peaceful.

Tons of spiders in the room and tons of dead insects on the spider webs. Extremely small restroom. Shower head was broken. Not a clean shower surface so use sandals or other water shoes. The toilet is way too small. So if you got a big booty good luck lol. No AC but the nights get chilly.

Beautiful place from far away, but has a lot of issues. I liked the area, full of nature and right next to el Peñol. The staff was amazing and the food was not bad.

We had an amazing time! From the hotel you have a great view at Guatape Rock and the staff was very helpful. We also booked a boat tour around the lake at the hotel. We had dinner at the hotel twice and had very nice drinks and meals. Thank you for the great time, we would love to come back some day!

Small breakfast. Only 1 egg,. The juice was not frest juice. We suspect it was cordial. We were told that our luggage woudl be delivered to our room. But when we arrived later in the evening, they were still sitting at reception. Loud heavy metal music was being played early in the morning whilst the staff prepared for breakfast service.

We were upgraded to a Suite with Spa. It had a view overlooking the Rock of Guatape.

I had an amazing shower( turn it to the left). A beautiful view. It's not too far to walk to the rock. The bed was extremely comfortable. The staff could not have done more for me.

It has an awesome view. The rooms are very good and clean. Hot water. Bathrooms are nice. Staff was very helpful. It is just outside of everything enough to be quiet and in nature. Saw lots of birds, including hummingbirds. Really nice grounds to walk around and chill. It's super close to the rock. Not far from guatepe, which, as a world traveler who has been around, it is a really neat, clean, pretty, and super fun town.. I liked the plants around the hotel. They have a good gardener.

The only downside was that the bathroom was very small and there were few places to unpack necessary things for bathing, etc. As an older building, there were a few things that needed maintenance; nothing worth nitpicking, however. Also: If you are arriving by car (how else would you get here?) please be sure to double check directions and drive carefully. The final 1-2kms of road is treacherous.

If you are exploring Colombia, the town of Guatape should be on your list. This property was directly below the famous landmark El Penon de Guatape and the restaurant on site provided amazing scenic views while you eat the included breakfast (which was great). The room was very nice and met expectations. Of particular note was the staff was extremely friendly and responsive. Our itinerary had us arriving after midnight and they made every accommodation to allow us to check in without any issue. Tremendous value; highly recommended.
