It was very hard to mix the shower temperature, a bit unpredictable between very hot and very cold but eventually we got it right. The lights in the room is all on or all off with a switch remote from the bed

The quietness in the night as the hotel is located a bit remote from the town. The service is great.

The road in getting there

Great overall experience... we were on motorcycles but the road is a little rough in getting there but it's nice to be away from the city. Ivan was amazing in helping us get my son's lost luggage back from the airlines so a big thank you for that!!! Breakfast was good and they have large jacuzzi's but no water in them so not really sure why that was....

Breakfast is just so-so. It is like 3 kilometers outside of Guatape center. You get quiet evenings but you are not in the middle of the action. They call a tuk-,tuk for you whenever you need transport for a 9 pesos or $2.50 which is cheap enough.

Large windows that open to a view of nature with abundant fresh air. We took a walk to a nearby lake. Wonderful nature. Wifi, hot shower and comfortable bed. You can reserve the hot tub.

In the ground floor, you can not see out from the room as the garden is closed by the high wall. Anyway, you get daylight through the clear roof.

Quiet and clean, nice terrasse with whirlpool, bikes available free of charge, comfortable bed, shower with (really) hot and cold water. Coffee machine in the room The receptionist, Ms Jeiry, is a real gem: extremely helpful and service oriented and giving good advice.

The location is poor. No restaurants in the area. Very dark road to walk down to get to the hotel. In general I would advise people to stay outside guatape in a lake side accommodation. The town itself is tacky and the staff in many places are rude. Stay outside the town at one of the waterfront glamping sites.

The WiFi was spotty. It would be nice to offer food as there's nothing really around to eat on a night time.

It was clean and modern, the staff were friendly and breakfast was delicious. It's a 20 min walk from Guatapé but the views are lovely and it's quiet. Best shower I've had in Colombia.

It can be difficult to leave from there if you don’t have a car. The staff was super helpful with getting us a cab but it took a long time before one could come. The breakfast is very simple but it’s fair considering the price.

The rooms are very charming with a nice rooftop, it’s spotless clean and great attention to detail. the staff is absolutely lovely and helpful. The view from the rooftop is beautiful and it’s very quiet as it’s located a bit off the main road. It’s definitely a great value for money place!

New hotel, or i would say more a boutique hotel, great deco, very cosy, with a view on horses and the town from my bed and the balcony. I think it’s the best hotel I stayed in in South America! Wifi strong, cable TV with English movies, breakfast on the rooftop with a view. The personal is great. The town is a easy 10 min walk, but their is a touk touk passing by every 30 min cause of the hostel next door. To go out at night i did go to the great hostel bar lounge next door and i met great peoples too! For the price i did stay an extra night, well worth it…

Well I arrived at around 1:30pm so about 1hr 30 mins before check in, was told I could not check in, ok thats no problem I can go wander the town. They allowed me to leave my bag in the room I was staying, and it was ready to check in, thats a bit of a crappy service. Secondly, there was NOBODY else in the hotel it appeared for the 2 nights I stayed yet I was put in a back room with no so called garden view yet the hotel has at least 2 floors of rooms and a roof terrace, and not only that I was stuck right next a staff members room at the back on the ground floor and also next to the maintenance cupboard, he kept coming and going all through the night and morning, would have super loud phone calls at 11pm, loud conversations at the reception area with other staff, slam the doors, then again at 7am this started again, loud music in the reception area, shouting instead of talking, talk about rude and disrespectful. The did allow me to use the terrace for a few hours after check out before my bus came so that was a small saving grace but the hotel was EMPTY so who else was gonna use it. It is further out of town then it seems although not too much further, but to get to the centre it is about 2.5km and not 1km as the map suggests.

Nothing really stood out for me here. The Wifi was pretty good. The breakfast was sufficient enough.

Quite a lot of long hair on my floor when i checked in. Also jacuzzi water wasn’t very clean. Abusive American guy screaming at his girlfriend in the room next door, not the hotels fault but even when talking i could hear everything, not much soundproofing

Quiet place located on fringe of town, nice room. Nice to have the jacuzzi with a view. Friendly staff. The owner dropped me in town when i checked out which was kind.

staff didn’t speak any English so communication was difficult. this is very important when managing a hotel. there was no atmosphere. there was no place to relax or hang out. it would be great to have comfortable sofas or hammocks. no food available during the day despite the upper floor having multiple seats for eating.

great value for money. clean room, comfortable bed and hot shower.
